That's why it's nice to have Straight-Arrow-Generro as our Basketball and Football coaches.

Making fun of KU was much more fun back when we were winning.

Seinfeld and Cheers. Depends on what mood I'm in as to which is better. Also, WKRP, Family Ties, Happy Days.

Baylor is in the midst of a rape controversy. k-state is k-state and we saw what happened when snyder retired the first time. Plus they're out in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile KU has a top basketball program, a great football setting, a new stadium on the horizon, a beautiful town, tons of money and a major metropolitan area right next door.

There's a ton of built in advantages that other schools don't have. There's no reason we shouldn't be one of the top jobs in the conference aside from Texas and OU.

Saw this in a story thought it was strange. Nick, Dabo, Jimbo and Urban. Maybe having a weird first name helps.
This is a problem with College football, only the top 4-5 teams can win. I don't see anyone else adding to that list for a few years. maybe Harbaugh. College football needs some new great coaches like Beaty.
College basketball has 14. I think.

I sincerely hope this isn't coming out of the renovation budget or they're going to run out of money soon.

Well, it's not coming out of the basketball budget.

I'm hoping somebody just found some extra cash in their couch cushions and decided to buy KU FB some nice Scrabble squares.

Confirmed that there's no need to worry about the view:

He also told me we are looking at this being completed in 3 phases. Like you said West side first. Then North, then East.  No timeline given though. He wasn't privy to all of the plans but, said the South side will enclose the stadium but, not impede on the view of the hill.

Whew!

5 miler at lunch today. I was about half a mile from home and the lightning started. Scared the crap out of me so I ran as fast as I possibly could, which wasn't much faster after 4.5 already.
I thought about what's-his-name's wife (Bennett?). I was only a half mile from home but had no place to go...except get there ASAP.
Be careful out there distance runners!
