Emails at my company are pretty formal.  I wish I could import some of the gE emoticons into Lync tho.  I'm sure   :flush:  would get used a lot.
:bang: and  would probably be my two most used.

i'm just happy that KU fans are walking around a little happier today, good for you guys.

No, they're all bitching because they only got one shot in the 1 shining moment montage and that was of Ellis crying.

0 KU highlights in 1 shining moment

Wow... thanks for the face shots of Ellis... that's all we get? ** off

Felt like it was a Zach Auguste Snapchat.

?

?

I don't really care either way, but Selden's dunk seems like an easy choice for a highlight of this tournament.

??

Odd. About 10 shots of Buddy and we get 2 seconds of a disappointed Perry?

I usually don't give a chit about that but seriously a single shot of Perry looking dejected and that is it??

Yeah, I thought Selden's dunk would make the highlight package.  I guess CBS forgot about us once we didn't make the Final Four cut.

Two for Maryland and WSU. Bizarre.

They managed to get shots of both a player and a coach looking fired up and excited from the 2nd round losers from Wichita in that clip.

This is why it's ********

I just assumed it was put together by an MU grad.

So they show Perry Ellis for one shot in a disappointing moment and that's what they show?!?! WTF? We played the NC to within a possession with highlight dunks by Selden and team and they F us like that?

No respect I tell ya.

OSU was so stupid with the Ford contract that being extra cautious with Brad makes sense.

Also, shows this wasn't about T Boone opening up his wallet. OSU quickly pursued Brad and he quickly answered. If we had pursued him at all he would've listened.

Have been told that...

"Underwoods parents have shared that Brad had  dialogue and offer from oSu late Sunday and his agent reached out to Currie and…….. crickets. No response."

from who? a cowboy fan?

guy from Mac who's connected to the Undies
Must not be too connected or he would know that it would be impossible for Brad's parents to share anything as his father is no longer living.

He's going with Carol.

Hard to burn down what has already been charred. That being said, WBB is doing better, they shouldn't be thrown in that sorry lot.
They can play at Ahearn.

Dax has been pushing pretty hard for a new indoor facility lately.  Why don't we just burn down the Octagon Of Dork and the bball training facility and build a new indoor facility in their place?

On the way back from a trip to California in a car with three KU fans, we listened to K-State beat BYU and then KU lose to UNI. Last couple hours of that trip were pretty quiet.
Was it a rebroadcast of the KU game?

The Pride of Mcpherson Kansas..... who wouldn't know him!!!!!
There are maybe 10% of the people in McPherson that know who he is.

i should've been more callous.  i should've known it wouldn't happen.
Doesn't help.  I knew in my heart of hearts it wouldn't happen.  It still cuts like a knife.

Seeing how there seems to be an overwhelming majority of respondents who disagree with my statement, I will reply generically to all of you. Please understand that I'm aware that some responses are more rational than others and, in any case, I know full well that almost all of you if not all of you love K-State as much as I do and are just frustrated as heck that we have missed the tournament 2 years in a row. I guarantee that this bothers none of you any more than it does me. Basketball is my favorite sport and K-State is my favorite team. Ok, so with that:
There is no coach in college basketball that I know of that works harder at recruiting than oscar Weber. No one. I have no statistics to back that statement but only observations. This is HUGE for success at K-State. When Altman was here and when Kruger was here, the greatest frustration was that our players were NEVER of the caliber of other teams in the Top 25. The exception with them and even with Martin was that both hired, early on, assistants who BROUGHT recruits with them. The problem with that strategy is that it comes with an expiration date. When Lon saw the expiration date coming, he left. Lon went on in his career to develop a competitive edge. Familiarity with the NBA, familiarity with Chicago and Florida (2 hotbeds for recruiting). Fred Hoiberg did the same thing. Martin counted on the DC Assault and Shakey pipelines. Eventually those dry up or the cost of maintaining them becomes too high in terms of probation risk.
Weber avoids all of that through hard work and getting in on kids early to establish a relationship. The guy earns his $2 million (if that's possible ) by landing in an above board manner, 4* and underrated 3* recruits. That's critical at K-State where you are in KU and Texas conference. I know Brad can coach and he might be able to win but will he do the most important thing needed to maintain it: recruit. Weber can flat out recruit and coach. Underwood may be an even better coach once the players are on the floor, but can he recruit those players? It requires ridiculous commitment and hard work. I'm just not sure.
WTF?

I 100% agree with Tom Fitzpatrick!
Fire oscar!

Rumor has it the cats are going to be very competitive next year.  That sounds like so much fun!  I can hardly wait!  Finally, after all these years, I can look forward to the KSU Qhats being competitive!   :Woohoo:

We really have come a long way.  In 1989 we tore the goal posts down for beating North Texas.  Let that sink in..... North......  Texas......

What a bunch of happy looking studs, though! I bet that moment was glorious to take in.

The fans who stay home aren't doing it to get back at the players. They're doing it because they don't support the coach.

I think oscar realizes that.  Do other coaches say crap like that about their fans? I don't recall seeing it and I think that just makes him look like more of a piece of crap, if that's possible.
Frank said stuff like that when he was here.
Frank won a tournament game.
I know, which is why I loved him.  My post was in response to Life and in the context of his post.
