Well in their defense, in order to keep in line with campus architecture they would have to pony up and put a red roof on it.So the state of Kansas is spending millions subsidizing KU's new stadium and they are going to send millions to Missouri to play 4 homes games? Cool.
It's a travesty, but it's so absolutely #onbrand for that place.
The very worst part is that they're doing this to build a facility that is not at all in keeping with the history of the original stadium nor the core architecture of their campus.
From what I've seen so far there's nary a single component that embodies indigenous natural building materials found in Kansas. Maybe that's because we've just seen the marketing renderings. We'll see I suppose.
Using Rock Chalk Park as our guide, they'll also be a financing and funding story to mull over when it's all said and done that will require FOIA's and an attempt to hide behind the shield of some potentially non FOIA'able entity like the KU Endowment.
I have a hard time believing there wasn't fentanyl or lethal doses of some other illicit drug in their system.Sounds like the guy that lives there is some sort of scientist....

I went with the rib dinner. Ribs were kind of chewy. Sides (baked beans, fries) were good. Nice collection of photos from the area on display in there. I probably could have spent an hour or more studying the walls.One of those pics was taken in one of our pastures
I really enjoy my kids' school-sanctioned sports events but the non-school / club stuff just annoys the crap out of me. Crowded icy parking lots, gate fees, crappy seating, CoachDads with faces swollen to massive proportions from drinking a 12 pack of Busch Light every night angrily screaming in the faces of tiny fourth graders, parents coaching their kids from the stands and loudly critiquing novice refs for the entire forty minutes. I can't stand it. I've got one more season of watching youth basketball left and then I'm done.I feel the same way about soccer

Every year when Schreds daughter asks me to give up booze for Lent I buy some NA to drink while I'm grilling. Just feels weird to not have a beer in your hand when grilling.They need to dramatically improve the formula for decaf coffee. NA beer has come a long way, but decaf still mostly sucks.
