I'm not anti-gun, but I'm increasingly anti-progunpeople.
I feel this too. Really, this is the exact reason why Obama won the last election, and the dems will continue to win for the foreseeable future until the republicans reform themselves. While there are some sane republicans, their line keeps getting hijacked by insane people that end up pushing those who stand in the middle to the side the seems the most sane.
While I don't disagree, there's some real whack jobs on the left as well. They just don't get as much play.
I don't disagree with that as well. They don't get as much play. But I think it stands that the perception of the right is viewed as worse than the left as of now, and probably will be until the republican party can get it's act together, which I'm guessing it won't happen by 2016, and by that point, I think the whole current party structure will begin to evolve once again, as moderate republicans will either detach themselves from the party or join the dems, not unlike what happened when the southern democrats joined the republican party. Basically, in my view, the republicans need to do some serious retooling, or they will fragment like a pineapple hand grenade, and it will be a democratic president in office until at least 2024.
