As MiR has pointed out this team has suffered through a tremendous amount of injuries this year, going this deep, on the back of Chambers has shown there is a lot to this team.

That and having no one on the roster taller than 6' 1" makes it even more impressive. God save that poor player that had to guard Griner.

So Greg Marshall realized that the way to beat La Salle is to utilize your large center on lots of plays, and get this, HE REALIZED IT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME!!!

Yeah, Wichita State is taking it to pound town.

Went with Obi Wan, though I would not despair if Han wins. BTW they might as well pencil in Jabba, Chewy, and maybe even Palpatine into the Empire 8 (bet that's what they'll call it). Also bet the final four will be the Force Four. Then again, i feel like that information might already be out there. All the other match ups will be good ones.

younger people probably like darth maul better

I prefer Maul, but there is no doubt in my mind that Maul won't even get 10% of the vote.

Maul wasn't even trained correctly, I mean come on.

To expand on that, if Vader doesn't even win the Dark side of the bracket, who does? That's right, no one. Palpatine got killed by Vader throwing his ass down the death star, Jabba got killed by Leia in an admittedly, sexy bikini, and Maul got killed by a younger version of the dude who went toe to toe with a young Vader and until the young Vader made a stupid decision the battle was forever in doubt. All the rest are water trash except maybe Boba and he got killed by essentially a blind Han.

Also, pre-Vader Anakin beat Dooku while Obi Wan got his crap tossed early in the fight. Really, dark side is Vader's to lose.

Yeah, I know about all the testing, I think I just felt like I remembered Verizon was able to get through their testing rather systematically, and Sprint kept on having issues.

likes himself too much. not saying he never does, but he seems like the kind of guy who is incapable of making fun of himself. and i don't enjoy those types of people.

Yeah, I'd agree with this, he's really pompous in how he deals with things too. Smart guy, like that he's not afraid to go against the grain, but he's not everything he's crack up to be (or think's he's cracked up to be).

Tomorrow is when the real fun begins, and now that all the pretenders who shouldn't have been included in the first place have been bounced, (other than whoever the hell Cad Bane is and today's light side matchup)

Looks like the GS4 will be out on Tmo May 1st, so it seems reasonable that by later that month-July all 4 carriers will have it rolled out. Though, when I got my GS2 (think I was the first in Manhattan to get it for Sprint) Sprint took longer than the other 3 if I remember right in getting it. They announced it in May, got it mid September, worst wait ever for a phone  :bang:

Would rather seem Sams do work than Waters, but whomever ends up getting us the most opportunities to win, I'm going with that guy.

Quote
If two straight guys can’t get married, and two gay guys can’t get married then they have equal rights. The issue behind legalizing gay marriage is not what ‘marriage’ is. The issue is, how can you legally express love with the person you claim to love? How does one define love in a court of law: you can’t. Marriage is an institution that was originally designed to keep couples legally bound to one another so that they could provide a continuous economic means of raising children together. This explains why for thousands of years EVERY culture on earth used arranged marriages. This ensured that a woman would be paired with a decent man so that a child would have a chance at being raised in a healthy environment (love was an afterthought). The idea of arranged marriages is no longer a law in the Western world, but whether you realize it or not, the center of any marriage is the intent to create life and raise children – not expressing love. If your ‘love’ is not realized until you sign a piece of paper in courthouse then you are not in love – you’re just an insecure nut who is more concerned about public opinion than your spouse. The push towards legalizing gay marriage shows that the gay community could care less about acceptance – what they are really seeking is destruction of cultural traditions and the eradication of a custom that they do not conform to. Not only does this show how closed minded and intolerant the gay community (and allies) truly are but it also shows that they care more about a piece of paper than the one they love. They are not in it for each other, they are in it to change the way you think or demonize you for disagreeing. They embody the essence of the Cultural Imperialist flawlessly.

This guy seriously typed all this out

O man, where do I begin....

I'm not anti-gun, but I'm increasingly anti-progunpeople.

I feel this too. Really, this is the exact reason why Obama won the last election, and the dems will continue to win for the foreseeable future until the republicans reform themselves. While there are some sane republicans, their line keeps getting hijacked by insane people that end up pushing those who stand in the middle to the side the seems the most sane.

While I don't disagree, there's some real whack jobs on the left as well.   They just don't get as much play.

I don't disagree with that as well. They don't get as much play. But I think it stands that the perception of the right is viewed as worse than the left as of now, and probably will be until the republican party can get it's act together, which I'm guessing it won't happen by 2016, and by that point, I think the whole current party structure will begin to evolve once again, as moderate republicans will either detach themselves from the party or join the dems, not unlike what happened when the southern democrats joined the republican party. Basically, in my view, the republicans need to do some serious retooling, or they will fragment like a pineapple hand grenade, and it will be a democratic president in office until at least 2024.

I think what you'd really want is a repeater. Adding another modem w/wireless router would work but a repeater should do that same job and and extend the range. That, or just get a better wireless router.

Last week when I got a chest X-ray (full torso) at the chiro the lady who developed it informed me I had a broken tailbone, don't even know how it happened.  :dunno: She said it could have been like that for years. I'm going to chalk it up to either a really drunk night or something when i was like 8.

plan said they should be getting the entire front facade done this week, some good gEer should take a friday pic and compare

LOL yeah right. It has taken them 3 weeks to get 4 of the front pillars done.

Good point. Too much crazy PR coming out of the Athletic Dept.

I guess it depends on your definition of facade. They could get all the concrete stairs in this week, if that's what they're going for, maybe.

Does anyone know when the whole Maryland exit fee will be settled? As the article said and I think we all know that will be a big deal if Maryland escapes with significantly less than $50 mill. Going of what Hamburglar said I think the Big 12 will expand back at least to 12 at some point soon. The whole line of "we're happy at 10" I think has been retracted away from recently. IMO I like the 10 teams right now, but I don't think it'll be something we can live with long term.

Bobba Fett straight mumped Dengar, 96 - 4.

I honestly thought C3-PO would do better than 11% against R2-D2.  That's pretty embarrassing.

Agreed, totally, very embarrassing.
