If you need a DirecTV dish, I know of one you can steal have.  My rommie and I had to leave behind our dish of three years that we installed when we moved out of our house.  Still tore up about that.

When people say the word "woof", as in "wolf".  There's an "l" in there for a reason.     :shakesfist:

as the final seconds tick off the clock during our game against UT to close out our undefeated season, the snow begins to fall.  abc pans to a tower crane where we see willie standing on top of the tower crane doing the K-S-U.  then he slips and falls and dies!

Ultimate K-State0 moment.     :lynchmob:

IMO flaws/shortcomings in competitive women's own eyes exponentially increases the cattiness.

Those same three vegans from my earlier posts equate to the proverbial Ugly Stepsisters.  Before I started working, the three accused a co-worker (a woman from the same department who was greatly accepted as more competent at her job than the three) of smelling like alcohol in the mornings, after lunch, etc.  It got her fired.  A lady that openly confronted the three on errors, missmanagement, or incompetence was fired for "stealing office supplies" due to accusations from the three.  It goes on and on.

My direct supervisor (a woman) is wonderful and truly a godsend.  She's greatly appreciated in this As the World Turns / Hunger Games / Battle Royale working atmoshere.

Omfg, steal all the office supplies you can carry and quit immediately.

Yeah, the issues there have nothing to do with gender.

I think it has everything to do with gender.  If a male was only strictly around women such as these in the working environment (or to a lesser extent, "emotional" women), I think that would give rise to the stereotypical "make me a sammich" mentality.  I don't know of or ever heard of any three guys going around like this, and you know that the three had to start somewhere and work up - "I'm not working with her, we don't get along", etc.  The glaring issue to me is how they act out and only against females.  And excessively emotional?  It would seem so.

Any resident psychiatrists around here to help me understand this  :horrorsurprise: experience?

Drove by BSFS yesterday and observed a worker with a tape measure diligently measuring something on the west side.  They're working on Sundays now to finish up this project boyos.   :ksu:

I thought that vegans were supposed to be like all skinny and have hot bods and stuff.  How come the three vegan gals in my office weigh 250+ lbs?  What do they eat if they can't get their saturated fat from 80-20 beef?  Chips?  Cheese?     Oh yah, let's fire up a co-workers nice trailer smoker/grill and have a BBQ in the parking lot, but yet have to grill their soy/corn burgers or whatever separately, on aluminum foil, wash the tongs before contact, and put them on a separate platter.  JFC, that's why we have a microwave.

Pro Tip:  They aren't actually vegans.  They eat all sorts of animal stuff at home and when they are not at work.  They just say they are vegans to distract attention from their fat and so they can make everyone change their menus for them.

We figured that was the case so we've tested them extensively.  They passed our "no-meat" baked beans test (since apparently ALLLLLL baked beans have some sort of meat in them), the famous "that's not meat, that's meatless sausage" claim (no homo), the tofu turkey escapade, the classic look-alike bacon bits on salad, etc.  They are pretty vegan learned, but whether or not it's because the fatness factor or the fact that they are PIAs is still yet to be determined.

Do they drink soda?

Diet.  Always diet.

I'm starting to wonder if they're just "big boned".

Near as I can tell, it looks like we've agreed to a home-and-home series.   :dunno:

Where are they located?  I like going to various non-con sites.

From my vague memory, I believe Denton?  Someone mentioned that they're located "in the armpit of Texas" or something or other.  Need confirmation.

Just got off of the phone with a bud at the Riley County Historical Society.  Recent posts in this thread have captured the attention of high ranking officials at RCHS, as a couple of the curators have previously voiced interest in preparing an exhibit regarding the historic Aggieville district (most notably, defunct bars).  I believe that they are extremely interested in bars from the riot days and bars that have burned down, so young people need not be concerned with this.  Here's their website for contact info; http://www.rileycountyks.gov/index.aspx?NID=328

TIA!

Stopping tee-ball/Little League games mid pitch because "the river is running!!!"

Getting dominated by NE Kansas private schools at State and proclaiming that they recruit.   :shakesfist:

Ridin' in the river.

Having nicknames in HS for towns like:
Hogtown = Hugoton
Useless = Ulysses
Condom City = Johnson City

Being in a car with 50+ MPH crosswinds with a first timer.

Tumbleweeds as big as small cars.

Having some counties on the border in Mountain Time and making a huge deal out of it when you have to travel out there.

Having one bar in the entire county.

The drive to Elkhart.

"The Turnaround" / Bustin' a cruise

Explaning to people what that mysterious smell is (feedyards, packer incinerators, etc.)

Trying to justify SWKS when people are like "This. is SWKS...?"

Scanning through the radio and getting two country, two rock, one Christian, and five Hispanic stations.

Grain chaff EVERYWHERE.   :runaway:

Having State tennis at the end of May when it's 103 with 45+ MPH winds and listening to easterners piss and moan all day about how "it's so hot, dry, and windy out here.  Why would anyone want to live out here?" and then having someone retort "Listen, it could be a lot worse - we could have a feedyard south of us."  And everyone laughs, but not the easterners because they don't get it.
