Essentially Flyertalk / Re: How Many Credit Cards Do You Have?
« on: September 11, 2023, 12:29:46 PM »
SW companion pass experts. What happens if the main flight person doesn't show for the flight, but the companion does? Does it really matter since one flight was paid for anyway. Any idea how this works or if its an issue? I'm just prepping for a potential scenario where Mrs SF can't go and I say eff it and go anyway without her ass.

no idea here but I know if you just don't show up for your flight and don't cancel they get very mad

I guess this is the question. If I cancel her flight, it prob cancels mine right? So if I just don't tell, they yell at her later on, but still prob give her a credit and i'm already partying.  :driving:
You may lose your return flight.

Every time they call me to get me to sign up I always wonder, "Who pays for this junk?"  And now I know.

Not that I think Dallas is the bee's knees, because I have no real attachment to it, but what does one do in any city? What does one do in Kansas City?
I agree with this.  Find something entertaining, eat something, then find fun places to get housed.  So in my opinion, the 3rd one is the most important.

I think the old chicken was terrible, and I really like the NuChicken.  So it could be way better, or I could have gotten #marketed.

A 3lb brisket flat would be a good thing to practice something weird on, though.

I need some help with this 3 lb hunk of brisket that came with the 1/4 of beef that I bought last fall. Thinking about salting and peppering it and putting it on the Trager until it hits 165deg, then wrapping with foil and continuing to cook until it hits 205deg. (My interpretation of recipie I found online). Anyone have other ideas. I need something that is pretty idiot-proof.
What part of the brisket is it?  Flat or point?

Mrs. K_M motherboard went out, so we had to get a new MB, CPU, and RAM.  Using her old GPU until they come down to a reasonable price.

maybe this is more your speed

It looks like if you explained to an old grandma what pizza is, and she tried her best  to make it for you.

One of these days AST is gonna smoke/grill some ridiculous food at a tailgate for some gE elites/everyone before the cats play in the first round of the CFP and all will be right in the world.
FattyFund would have maybe made over 1k from the silent auction for this.

i’ve decided to forego eating ribs from now on and just eat the lung.  lung has to be better than ribs, why else would the rib protect the lung?  does anyone know a place where we can try some?  guessing real texas bbq serves it
I'm still mad at you for crap talking that perfect pizza I had.

If someone had the audacity to serve this to me, I would get up and leave
That would be a weird way to thank them for serving you an incredible pizza.

Have you ever noticed that pizza is incredibly good?
I hadn't thought about that.  Great point!

It was a top 5 pie.

It looks good to me! But inquiring minds want to know about the missing tiny slice ...
It is just a separation from where they cut the pizza and it slid away from the adjacent piece.

@steve dave
Any recommendos on rear facing vs front facing car seat on the plane? our kid is under a year so i think technically needs to be rear facing, but his weight is high enough he can do front facing.
As someone who has never done this, rear-facing seems like it would be easier for you if you are sitting next to it.

It's not unavoidable to not bring smelly food on a plane.  Although I don't think I've ever smelled tomato juice unless I was the one drinking it.
