Gentlemen,
Today the new votes have been tallied up and it turns out that the Big XII is now the nations premier conference.
Currently the Big XII has nine(9) teams receiving votes to be in the USA Today Poll. That is
90% of our conference.
Currently the SEC has ten(10) teams receiving votes to be in the USA Today Poll. That is
71% of their conference.
Currently the Pac-12 has eight(8) teams receiving votes to be in the USA Today Poll. That is
67% of their conference.
Currently the ACC has six(6) teams receiving votes in the USA Today Poll. That is
50% of their conference.
Currently the Big East has four(4) teams receiving votes to be in the USA Today Poll. That is
50% of their conference.
Currently the Big 10 has five(5)(not including tOSU) teams receiving votes to be in the USA Today Poll. That is
42% of their conference.
You want to talk about strength of a conference top to bottom?
How about 90% of your conference being recognized as national powers and you have to play 9 conference games.
And to think, just one year ago we were worried about this conference breaking apart.
Talk about trading up when we got rid of Mizzou and aTm.
<---- but with a Big XII flag.
