I like the concept but I find it hard to watch. Just too much guys talking over each other, and David Cutcliffe seemed to dominate the conversation. I realize that is what you are going to get when you throw six head coaches in a room.

« on: December 07, 2017, 11:34:07 AM »It’s usually dumb, but our fans counting down has absolutely gotten us out of some delay of game penalties when our idiotic “look to the sidelines for 35 seconds to check with the coaches and then clap your hands really fast when you realize there are 2 seconds left on the play clock” system is in play. Not a ton, but probably a few.
I was mainly poking fun at/complaining about our offense that leads to what seems like a majority of plays being snapped inside of 5 seconds. But I do have a problem with the fans that feel the need to start counting every time the play clock hits 10. Our fans need to develop some situational awareness.

I think my favorite SFS in person was '95. We were coming off a loss in Lincoln and the Hawks were ranked in the top 10. We throttled them 41-7.

Yeah. I call him "Get Up Guy". He sacrifices a lot. Spends more time turned around looking at the crowd then he does watching the game. A true fan.

Really is a pretty solid idea. Get your oil changed and catch about 15 minutes of the game, which is more than enough for the average Hawk fan.
