Picked up Ghost Recon Wildlands. The beta was fun enough. Basically a Tom Clancy GTA game.

I tried SlingTV during its free weekend. It's beyond shitty. Picture quality was awful.

Vue and DirecTV Now look great  :dunno:

Also, the Sling UI is gross.

I got the free Apple TV DirecTV Now deal. Apple TV is good. Slightly better than the Fire TV, unless you have a 4K tv. DirecTV Now sucks. Picture quality is great. It's fast to change channels, but the stream is glitchy, very few app logins, and no DVR. Thinking about switching to Vue.

Watched Moana and Trolls this weekend with my daughter.

Moana: loved it.
Trolls: I'll be ok if I don't watch this ever again.

I care about dirty recruiting if it affects us. Which it probably does.

The Good Place is good comedy filler when you overload on the OA and Black Mirror.

We were looking to get an Apple TV for our basement TV, so I signed up for the 3 month prepay deal. I tried it on my phone and it seems good.

He's tracking down Delores to wake her up, ya big dummy.

If this is true then he already thinks she is alive/sentient/has emotions which she displayed 30+ years ago...and so he shouldn't have said he's never seen that type of behaviour before.

 :sdeek:

Why would he go make someone alive that he already thinks is alive?

I give up.

EXACTLY! Therefore William is not the MIB!

Are you punking me rn, or what?

http://www.outkickthecoverage.com/espn-loses-another-555-000-subscribers-per-nielsen-112916

I'll just leave this here.

I literally stopped reading after the lede because that 600,000 number was debunked. I also am confused why he feels this is an ESPN issue, as if he doesn't work for a competitor with an inferior product. It's like someone working for Godfather's Pizza mocking Pizza Hut because people are eating less pizza.

You're right, sort of. Found this write up. http://fortune.com/2016/10/31/espn-subscribers/ Whether or not it's the right number is one thing, but they still have to be bleeding. My guess is he is bringing it up as a market wide issue, and people better get their crap together? No idea.

You guys need to get outside more often. Sheesh.

Prepay 3 months ($105) and get a free $150 Apple TV. Not bad.

I guess I don't watch much tv compared to you guys? I still have every channel known to man, but I'd consider streaming.

It's pretty vague. I'm calling it an "awakening".

why is that a hang up?

Because William obviously believes that Dolores is sentient. So Maeve wouldn't have been the first time he realized it.

Not sure he believes she's sentient. He has come to the realization he fell for it. Now William is cynical and holds a grudge. Up until he kills Maeve and her daughter, anyways.

Don't you think that if that was the case then 30 years later when he noticed Maeve being sentient he would think "Hey, maybe that time when I thought Dolores was sentient for a day I was actually right." ?

Don't you think that is the primary reason he's tracking her down in present day?
