I know it was good for us, but I'm not really a big fan in general. I think it should be more like NFL you can either go pro or go to college, but if you go to college you have to stay at least 3 years. Would make the college game of higher quality and allow the true "phenoms" like kobe, KG, LeBron etc to go league right away. This would also improve the quality of play in the NBA.
you can't go to the NFL straight from high school...you have to wait three years. NBA says you have to be 19 years old by a certain date in order to enter the draft...it's basically labor law to cover their ass. NCAA just needs to implement a a 2 or 3 year rule. NBA will not budge on this.

This is the issue, there needs to be another division created here similar to football with Div 1 and Div 1A. Create a Div1A and let them have their own tourney.

It wasn't necessarily the grossest apartment you ever saw, but 4 people living in a 3 bedroom didn't help. A couple roommates complained about having red itchy bumps in the morning. I gradually noticed tiny red spots(im guessing blood) on my sheets. Finally my roommate woke up in the middle of the night to one biting him. Went in to total freak out alert. Tore up all the beds, found them lining the mattresses. Ended up having to get the place fumigated every other week or something like that. Gradually they died out. Worst months of my life. Luckily they didn't transfer anywhere else.
Had a similar situation. We barely had them while the neighbor and the people below us were bat crap crazy infested. We moved out, got rent refunded after we were forced to move into that apartment because the building we were in before was getting renovated. Somebody at the office goofed up and admitted they knew about bed bugs in the building prior to us moving in, but they never did anything about it until someone complained. The refused to fumigate, we pointed out their cover up and explained how our stuff was ruined if they didn't fumigate. So, now as a result my wife inspects hotel room with ridiculous detail.

agreed, we just need to be in the best position possible to win 6 in a row come march 18. ku is getting a 1 seed, we need to take care of business and get a 2 or 3 seed.

my fave from the game was the phantom foul on collins with 5 seconds left.

This post may be very SoDJ'ish but here we go. Last week as the Nub game ended and all the fancy ESPN graphics appear a very large SEC logo appears on the screen. Then toward the end of the ISU game we miss a few seconds of the games because ESPN switches over to the SEC Net to show the final seconds between two 0.500 middling SEC teams.
The Big 12 teams should be pretty pissed about now. It's just adding fuel to mizzou's fire when it comes to departing. Hey at least the Nub game was in HD.

I would argue that this is a big reason we have one of the best student sections though. I would rather have them there than myself. And I consider myself good at yelling onscure and hurtful things when it's quiet.
agreed. I don't want it to change. But you've got to wonder, as demand for season tickets increases and people are willing to donate the $1000 per season ticket for a chairback...are the students going to get pinched? I certainly hope not. Not just yet.
I say we just put chairbacks on all the sh1tty old people bleacher seats to make them feel special. It's not like they care or know any better.
I like this idea. Also, need to keep them higher up so the old folks don't have to complain about "walking so far down those damned stairs" all the time. Raise their required donation per seat just enough to cover the cost of the new chairs the first season plus about 3-5% profit.

i just want a quick agreement that the window has to go. the way it's being described just sounds absurd. absolutely absurd. get rid of that stupid f8cking thing and then you just go from there.
windows in a basement is pretty dumb. kind of ruins the whole "basement" feel. To be really elite the basement needs the ability to be pitch black at high noon in the middle of the summer. SD seems pretty hell bent on the window though, may require an intervention.
also, its no a "pillar" its a column.
