if he doesnt rep us i dont see the reason to support him. he was helpful in keeping our draft pick streak alive though

Knoxville, TN-News Channel 3 has learned former NFL coach Jon Gruden has a contract offer in hand from the University of Tennessee and a decision could be made as early as Wednesday. Part of the offer is Gruden getting a piece of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, who were recently bought by Jim Haslam, one of UT’s biggest boosters who played on the Vols’ national championship teams in the early fifties. He’s also the father of Tennessee governor Bill Haslam. A potential hangup could be over money Gruden may be owed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from his stint as head coach there that ended in 2008. The NFL is looking into the conflict of owning part of one team while getting money from another. Gruden is currently working as an NFL analyst for ESPN. He started his coaching career in 1986 as a graduate assistant at Tennessee where he met his wife, a former UT cheerleader. Gruden’s two head coaching stints in the NFL were with Oakland and Tampa Bay. He coached the Bucs to a Super Bowl win in the 2002 season.

I like Bryce and I'm glad he's representing Kansas so nicely in the NFL. But he never really played for us so I cannot consider him a K-Stater and as such he will never mean as much to me as Sproles or DT or Jordy.

yeah thats how it see it. its nice to have k-state by his name but dont really care

@KyleTucker_CJ: Per a source inside UK athletics, Butch Jones, Sonny Dykes and Mark Stoops have all said "no thanks" to Kentucky.

6 in the BCS is still pretty glorious you guys

this is true. as long as we beat texas and go to the fiesta ill be happy. if we could actually win the bowl game that would be great. but if we lose to texas then i will be down

Kansas State Football / Re: Point to a moment when things went south.

Pease dropping two passes in a row was when I sat down and went "we're mumped."

that wasnt the moment for me but i can see that. chris harper missed one later too which i think was on third down.

for me it was in the 3rd quarter we were only down by 11 and baylor went for it on a 4th and 3 or 4th and 4 and we had guys there that could have in theory could have stopped him but he fought enough for the first down. thats when i knew it was over. up until that point I was still hopeful

welcome winston, thanks for the well wishes. since you have manners its hard to think you are a SEC fan and not a fake account but if you are real it would be nice if you stuck around.

hoping stanford beats oregon. i actually fear oregon more then notre dame, alabama or georgia. although after usc put so many yards/points on them not as much. maybe after they play stanford, oregon state and pac12 champ game they will seem more mortal since those are actually solid teams. would love for oregon to go down and notre dame win its last two and face them in the championship game. i think notre dame are frauds.
