I think we can do both. If OU wins, we have a share of the conference but OU gets the AQ BCS spot. That opens the door for Currie and UPKS to buy K-State an at large spot a la Lew Perkins. Lets make this crap happen.

Say what you will about the players not being up to par (that's also at least partially Cosh's fault), but the real problem has to be at least partially due to scheme and play calling. Go back and look at the stats from 2009 when Vic was the actual D Cord. The players were equally shitty, if not worse. The offense wasn't eating up 40 min per game. Yet, the defense still wasn't letting every team in the confy set records (2010 everyone set rushing records on us, 2011 it's passing records).

It's pretty god damn frustrating when 90% of the plays in the 2nd half were 10-15 yard passes between the hashes. I mean christ, try anything different. Are we so low on players that we cannot bring in a nickle or dime package? Even if they start busting 7 yard runs on us, it's better then letting them have their bread and butter on every play.
