The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Re: Happy MLK Day, everybody
« on: January 18, 2016, 07:57:30 PM »
MLK, Jr., was a great man and great republican.  It's too bad leftist cities insist on sullying his name by naming the worst road through the worst neighborhood in town after him.

You cannot possibly believe the BS you spew. Not only is it wrong, factually, but it doesn't even have any face value.

Have you ever driven on a Martin Luther King jr. Blvd that wasn't in a shithole neighborhood? ????

1. That's not what I was referring to.

2. "Leftist cities" aren't sullying his name

1.

2. Oh yes they are

1. I was referring to King being a Republican. First, he didn't claim a party as he claimed feeling betrayed by both. Democrats pushed civil rights agenda not Republicans, and that's who he worked with. Even if you want to make the WEAK argument that King was a Republican it's not the same Republican party that exists today.

2. I do not believe that, "leftist cities insist on sullying his name by naming the worst road through the worst neighborhood in town after him." Perhaps, it's appropriate, to place it an area of town made up of the very people he spoke for.

They're expensive because that dude with the hardhat keeps dropping them down that thing he's looking in?   :dunno:

He's referring to the huge foundational column behind the guy (not the thing he's looking down or the line of concrete to the side of him. but the square one behind him that's by itself)

No, it's because Pat has left four $40 hardhats in the foundation in the NE corner of the stadium.

Zach Shackelford (Texas) joins Xavier Kelly (Clemson) and Tre Bryant (Nebraska) as prominent K-State de-commits.

  :curse:

It's truly comical.

Shackelford and Kelly are unsurprising. Bryant is the one who truly got away.

True, but we shouldn't just stop recruiting juco kids. Hayes, McDaniel, and the thin recruiting classes support the case for recruiting juices.

At this point should we consider greyshirts as full scholarship commitments? I'm not sure how we fill this class otherwise...wow, effing terrible.

Unless there is some sort of last minute surge, this could end up being the worst class in Snyder 2.0.

I mean it's awful. But who is actually going to commit to a coach that openly discussed retirement plans at the end of every season?

Skylar and a young, solid o-line make it tolerable.

What solid o-line?

Frantz and Applegate. Shack  :crossfingers:

You know frantz and applegate are already red shirting right, dumbass?

I do know that, and it's irrelevant. My point is that those two, and hopefully Shack, are the core to a young offensive line that will, hopefully, support a solid offense under Delton/Skylar.

Idk why Les Miles is so high on some peoples list. He under achieves every year it seems.

He's won 1 natty and been to another, not too many current coaches have done that (Bob has).

Anyone dumb enough to eat grass off the turf before every game should be disqualified from a "Top Ten Head Football Coaches in College Right Now," thread.

Former Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn will act as one of the assistant coaches for Charlie Weiss in the East-West Shrine Game.

Reunited and it feels so good? Quinn will be working with former Notre Dame HC Charlie Weiss once more in the East-West Shrine Game on January 23. Weiss'll be heading up the East team, with Quinn and notable names Troy Brown and Mike Alstott (among others) serving as assistant coaches. Opposing that crew for the West Team will be former Hawaii HC June Jones and assistants Jerry Glanville, Steve Broussard and Chris Miller (among others).

Kansas State redshirt junior FB Glenn Gronkowski accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl.

Baby Gronk isn't a defense-crumpling supernova like Patriots TE (and older bro) Rob Gronkowski, but he's a fine contributor at fullback, scoring seven touchdowns in a limited offensive role with the Wildcats over the course of his career. In early January, CBS Sports analyst Dane Brugler pointed out that the 6-foot-3, 234-pound Gronkowski "established himself as one of the better blockers at the college level early in his career." It's this blocking ability that would likely help the fullback earn a draft selection in the later rounds. For better or worse, his name alone could earn him a slight slot bump.

Wallace (yeah, I know) stating Snyder is doing an in-home with Shackleford.  That's pretty awesome, right?

Pretty terrible his only visit is to a low end 3star while Harbaugh is ready to start sleeping over at kids houses to get them signed up.

How do you know this is Bill's only home visit?
