We are developng a generation of self induced technotardation. Kids can't spell, socialize, and have medical problems. Their brain waves are scrambled eggs. I wonder if the rise in autism, attention deficit syndrome, and the rise of hate is related to the use of smartphones.

University of Oklahoma president David Boren said about 25 schools have contacted the Big 12 about joining.
Via ESPN.com's Jake Trotter, we found out on Tuesday that Memphis, Colorado State, Houston and Central Florida were lobbying for entrance. We've also heard Cincinnati, Boise State, BYU, South Florida and UConn, among others, linked to the conference. Of those teams, Memphis is flirting most aggressively. As ESPN.com's Mark Schlabach reported on Tuesday, school president David Rudd has pledged a $500 million investment in the athletic department if the Big 12 adds the Tigers.

At a rally in Spokane, Washington State HC Mike Leach endorsed presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
We interrupt your dissection of Team X's draft grades to bring you one of those strange sports-politics crossovers. "It’s time for Mr. Trump to assist us together in our country…making America great again," Leach said at the Spokane rally. This isn't coming out of the blue. Leach and Trump have been friends since the former's time coaching at Texas Tech. For his part, Trump called Leach "an offensive genius." The reality television star/somehow-politician has said many, many, many things, but that one is actually true. You may now resume reading draft grades.

I'm starting to recover from my Trump funk. And I'm finding the silver linings of all this. Like the next few months are going to be hilarious. And he might actually beat Hillary. And if he does, as terrible of a person as he is, at least he genuinely believes in American Exceptionalism and putting American interested first. But mainly this is gonna be hilarious much in the way I enjoy watching Idiocracy. Herewith I present...
Bucket Fact: it will probably happen in the future maybe.
Bucket Fact: If only kansas operated more like detroit, or any of the other liberal utopias with worse credit ratings.
TOPEKA — A national credit rating service says there's at least a 50-50 chance it could lower Kansas' AA credit rating later this year, depending on how the Legislature handles the state's current budget crisis.
The Kansas City Star reports Standard and Poor's Rating Services said Monday it had placed Kansas on a "credit watch" because of the state's budget shortfall and concerns about Gov. Sam Brownback's proposal for filling the gap.
New revenue estimates for the state recently projected a $290 million budget shortfall through June 2017.
Brownback spokeswoman Eileen Hawley says the governor has presented three options for the Legislature to consider in balancing the budget.
The rating service says it will resolve the credit watch in 90 days, based on the Legislature's actions.
