On Friday, May 5, the Kansas State University Office of Institutional Equity received notification of a noose hanging from a tree on the Manhattan campus. It was removed and the Kansas State University Police Department is investigating. Anyone with information should call 785-532-6412 or email [email protected].

The reason for the noose is unknown, but Kansas State University reminds K-Staters about the Principles of Community. We stand united against all forms of discrimination.

Not embracing medicaid expansion had a lot to do with the closure of other hospitals in the state. Not sure if this is related. Probably, though.

And it's probably going to be a useful season after the Eagles disregarded running backs in the draft. Philly's lone RB selection was used on fifth-rounder Donnel Pumphrey, a similarly undersized scatback who has drawn optimistic comparisons to Sproles. Ryan Mathews apparently now has a chance to return despite major back/neck issues. Sproles is likely to maintain PPR value in 2017.
