Dayton is dealing in nostalgia. He has convinced himself the best path is constant reminders of the 2015 World Series team. I’d prefer he look forward towards the next one instead.

Dayton just keep earning my respect.  It's time for me to not doubt Dayton anymore.

Agreed. I'm giving Dayton the chance at a fresh start after a few bad offseasons and multiple lousy decisions. This year we'll suck bad but we'll stockpile draft picks and be good in about 2022. Plus every 5th day Duffy will be on the hill and make the team watchable so whatev let's just roll with it.

I was very pleased with DM up and until late 2015. He's been grossly negligent since then and should be canned.

Duffy is meh for me, and has never pitched 180+ innings in a season, so I think you're a little delusional.

Sucks at drafting.

Have not read the indictment. Seriously: what does this have to do with Trump or colluding with Russians to steal the election?

Otherwise, I’m not sure why we care about some dude getting charged with bank fraud who worked for Trump for a couple of months.

No idea. However, it's well within Mueller's purview whether we like it or not.

I thought Manafort was clean

Did anyone say that? I remember asking WTF this indictment had to do with Trump or colluding with Russians to steal the election. By the way, WTF does this have to do with Trump or colluding with Russians to steal the election?

You keep flailing TBT, flail away. Hang your hat on this.

Moving of the acceptability goalposts. smdh

The one thing that you just can't ever seem to get straight, and I know you don't want to.  Is that I have never said that nothing took place.  What I have said is that too date, there's still no evidence that there was any COLUSION on the part of the Trump campaign and Russia.   Which, really, really pisses you off, I know.

What we also know, is there was a tremendous level of engagement between the highest levels of the DNC and Russian entities as well, and that your hero, the DNC's candidate, received millions of dollars from Russian entities.   We also know that the top of the DNC had family engaged in lobbying on behalf of Russian Oligarchs, not too mention engaging foreign entities and Russians to build a dossier on Trump.

One problem here is that you've put all of your faith in Devin Nunes.

So the NYT's article about millions in Uranium One Money flowing to the Clinton Foundation, was via Devin Nunes?  The FBI is now back investigating the Clinton Foundation, because of Devin Nunes?

Devin Nunes broke the story that the Podesta Group was lobbying for the Russians?

Keep me posted on how those turn out.

That all is just so rich Dax

Useful idiots usually tap out the earliest.

Sad

Legit idiots make quotes that define presidencies.

I know you think that sounded smart.

Again, just admit that you're perfectly okay with the tremendous malfeasance of the previous administration (and your hero, Hillary) and that you got swept up by the Russian trolls.   The first step of breaking the shackles of being a useful idiot, is admitting that you are one.

T&P's

I’m not like you Dax I don’t just go around telling the lies dear leader wants me to believe.  You sadly will forever be shackled to your tin foil hat and Alex Jones monologues.

I know you're pretty dim, but there's a whole slew of articles about the congressional inquiries regarding how the FISA warrants were obtained.

From the New York Times:

Nov. 12, 2016. The Agency continues its efforts to divide the country, hosting dueling protests in New York. One is meant to “show your support for President-Elect Donald Trump,” and another called “Trump is NOT my President.”

Nov. 19, 2016. The Agency organizes a rally in Charlotte called “Charlotte Against Trump.”

Just admit you were a useful idiot TBT.  It's okay, we all know you're dumb, anyway.

Also, nice doubling down on the tapout, throwing in Alex Jones.

Dax, you posted Russian troll tweets in the pit.

You guys keep saying Trump is some lackey to Russia, then whine like babies when people post crap about him kicking their ass, and try and change the subject. What's the deal?

#libbots

Who posted anything about Trump kicking Russia's butt?

Executive branch really stepped up to protect the American electoral process.

what should have happened?  O kicked ruskies out if I remember correctly and Trump tweeted that it wasn't a big deal and we should move on?

What would Prez Dax have done?

Given bombing coordinates to the Russians so they could take out our guys in Syria.

Hey, Trump did that too, except he gave up the Israelis to the Russians.  :D

Crude oil production increased 72% while Obama was in office. Even you would have to agree he was extremely hard on the Russians.

Obama needs McConnell's consent to do something is an particularly libtarded libbot take

Bipartisan would be the key word here FSD

Would have been key in order to tamp down the outrage of the alt-right and other Trumpers had Obama come out and said "Russia is trying to help Trump win." After Trump said, "Russia hack Hillary!" You know, he was trying to come across as impartial.

Lol.

This all started in 2014 and then really didn't get ratcheted up until after the 2016 election.

Just a total failure by the sitting executive branch. ObamaCuck, LyinLoretta, and Unilateral Comey.  Unless they purposely did nothing.

What should he have done Dax?  If you are saying it didn't have any impact after we've had the advantage of knowing the election result, looking back and getting all the facts from the social media execs, what should the past administration done in the moment?

Obama!  :curse:

Why are our lib-buds melting today?  Did they just now figure out this Russia thing was horseshit?

With all the fake stories about COLUSION they posted over the last year they are starting to feel like russian bots, and they're lashing out.
#libbot

What fake stories? The ones that caused Mike Flynn to resign? Jr, Kush, and Trump's campaign manager's meeting to obtain secrets about Hillz? Contacts with Wikileaks?

the ruskies would have supported bernie's election in the same way. i'd like to see republicans take this more seriously since it won't benefit them every single time.

they can't admit the russians wanted to benefit them even this time.

Russians absolutely wanted trump to win and went all out to get it done, I don’t think anyone is disputing that but I could be wrong.  I assumed the dissent was if Trump and company had a hand it in it(Proof of that will be definitive or not when mueller finishes.) The Facebook thing is just silly and lacks anything remotely close to evidence it swayed the election.    I’ll also mock endlessly anyone who says Russian twitter bots swayed the election.

Don't really disagree with any of this.  As a moderate who votes Republican it should be concerning that the GOP will not likely trot out such a russian lap dog next time and the Russians will align with the side that is more notoriously likely to be their foil.

Whining about our media while rolling over for russian is so weird.

The deep state crap is also

I don't know about anyone else but i rest much easier at night knowing that we (the US) has never meddled in another country's elections.  We have every right to be righteously indignant that another country would have the nerve to try to meddle in ours.

So Whisker Biscuit is just going to bend over and take it.

Take what?  I think we should spend hundreds of millions of dollars figuring out if the Russians actually purchased facebook ads or otherwise tried to influence votes and when we finally get confirmation we should tell them (very sternly) that we don't appreciate it and they better stop.

Ya, literally no one has advocated for that. That would be stupid.
