The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Is The President Racist?
« on: December 02, 2017, 10:19:18 PM »
Surely the K-S-U-Dubz of the world know in their heart of hearts that Trump is a gigantic dumbass buffoon, right?

No. I actually think he's remarkably shrewd. Enough to become President of the United States. Something neither you nor I will ever sniff. I do think he comes across quite often as a buffoon, both intentionally and unintentionally, due to his provocative and grandiose manner. He is, at the end of the day, a master salesman (and some might say con-artist) but he is most certainly not a "dumbass buffoon."

Would you agree he's a racist buffoon?  :dunno:

No. Not any more than most people.

The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Evolution of the 3rd Party?

I've heard talks of the need for more than two parties. It actually made a lot of sense to me. Still does.

Seems like this is the perfect time to introduce that idea.

It seems like the Freedom Caucus aligns most with Trump. They always hated Boehner. Boehner and his ilk seem to hate Trump.

I'm a 3.5/7. Any other thoughts?

Does it piss you off when someone greets you with a "Happy Holidays" in December? Do you hate Starbucks red holidays cups?

Tell us why here.

An Oklahoma congressman is facing scrutiny after a video posted Monday showed him telling constituents at a town hall that they do not pay his salary.

"You say you pay for me to do this? That's bull crap. I pay for myself," Rep. Markwayne Mullin told constituents at a town hall in Jay, Oklahoma. I paid enough taxes before I got here and continue to through my company to pay my own salary. This is a service. No one here pays me to go."

A 64-year-old Florida man tried to set a convenience store on fire because he thought the owners were Muslim...

Richard Lloyd told deputies he wanted to "run the Arabs out of our country" so he pushed a dumpster in front of the Port St. Lucie store and set the contents on fire...

Lloyd told detectives he assumed the owner was Muslim and that angered him because of "what they are doing in the Middle East...

Mr. Lloyd made the assumption that the store owners were Arabic when, in fact, they are of Indian descent....

According to CNN affiliate WPEC, Lloyd told investigators he tried to buy a bottle of Tropicana orange pineapple juice at the store a few days ago but was told they didn't have any. He was also upset because he assumed the store employee was Muslim...

Lloyd told investigators he planned to burn the building because he "was doing his part for America

« on: October 18, 2016, 05:20:18 PM »
Researchers using an imaging technology called muography to “see” inside the Great Pyramid of Giza believe they have found two previously undiscovered cavities in the more than 4,500-year-old structure, which is the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu.

“We are now able to confirm the existence of a ‘void’ hidden behind the North Face, that could have the form of at least one corridor going inside the Great Pyramid,” Scan Pyramid reported over the weekend.

1. Will Emmanuel Lamur play three downs for Cincinnati?
After missing the entire 2013 season with a shoulder injury, Lamur drew rave reviews in the offseason and is penciled in as the starting strong side linebacker. The question is ultimately if the Bengals’ coaching staff envision Lamur as a candidate for their nickel subpackages?

At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, Lamur is a specimen who has the body type to hold up to an every-down role. He also has sideline-to-sideline speed and the ability to cover tight ends. At this point there’s little indication out of Bengals camp regarding their plans for Lamur, but we can read the tealeaves to get an indication of what to expect.

This needs its own thread. We don't need to be posting this stuff in the, "Wild Wildcats In The 2014 NFL Draft" thread.

North Dakota State has suspended junior LB Travis Beck after the Bison allegedly knocked a man unconscious during a fight.

Beck was charged with aggravated assault following the weekend altercation. He was named the most valuable player in the 2011 Division I Football Championship Subdivision title game after the Bison won back to back titles.
