I might buy a Mac just so iTunes will work better. I swear I have the f'n worst luck with itunes on Windows in regards to syncing devices. It seems every other week it f's up and I have to restore crap. Makes me so angry.

I played the hell out of Civ 3...loved it.   I tried out Civ4 a bit, but while the graphics where more high-tec, it sorta felt clunky to me.  I'd love to get back into Civ though.

Agreed.

I once played a whole game of 4 without a single war.  I didn't change any of the settings from default.  I did like country borders, since there are always annoying foreign soldiers that love to run through my territory.

Still play Civ 3 some.  Civ 4 blows.

I liked Civ 4.  More stuff, more rules to play with, better graphics.  If you don't like the settings/rules you can change them (same as Civ 3). Also the addition of Religion and Corporations added a new dimension to the game.

Sorry to say they had to take out towns (wtf) and made it pretty linear as opposed to earlier FF games.

What does this mean?   

In previous Final Fantasy games you'd visit a town/village/city for your shopping/selling/running around in random strangers houses and stealing their crap needs.  In this game, there will be no towns or anything like that.

Got that pre-ordered.  Early reports are PS3 version looks better, of course.  Sorry to say they had to take out towns (wtf) and made it pretty linear as opposed to earlier FF games.  Cautiously optimistic.
