Beems, I will say that I constantly going back and forth trying to decide if you are one of the best BBSers I've ever seen or one of the worst. I suppose the fact that I can't really decide should make me lean toward you being one of the best.
I was thinking this same thing over the past couple of days. Good grief is he outstanding!

CF3... I will stop posting.  Not being anonymous and stuff is kinda creeping me out.  Enjoy a beems-free board from now on, buddy.

I had banged over 25 chicks by the time I graduated high school.  That number is over 60 now.

This is pure gold.

I lost count a long time ago.  Wish I knew the exact number.

You can't make this crap up.

If she don't swallow, don't marry her.

it doesn't matter once you get married.
True, but what she is willing to do before marriage is an indication of what she will be like as a wife.

I am getting ready to pour a large patio in the back yard with a bball goal. I know gorilla goals are awesome, but does anyone have any better recommendations for less money? What's the best deal on a permanent bball goal?

I just finished page 12. The transformation of MICat through the 1st 12 pages is beautiful. At this point, this is made for TV movie type stuff.

So, I've decided I hate playing with short 40-somethings, because it's almost a guarantee that they will drive with their head down every time they get the ball, and never pass...ever.

Michi', are you one of these?
I realize that my lameness in reading this old thread will be outed, but this post certainly deserves a: "Were you playing with Sprads?" comment.
BTW, this is a fantastic thread, micat.

Vertical.  Clean.

Why watch a video when still photos are available?

Video confirms clean block as well.  You lose.  KU wins.  Rock chalk!
Why is it so hard for you to understand that no matter what the video confirms, KU won. Remember a face mask in the KSU- NU Fb game a few years back. I do. It was awesome. It was also NOT CALLED.

Ben, I don't think I have ever jumped in on anything involving your posts, but imagine if you would have started with this:

Ben: Holy crap, can you believe they didn't call a foul on T-Rob at the end??!?! That was fricking awesome!! :tsc: :tsc: :tsc:

Every goEMAW'er: God that was great! We rarely get anything that blatant, but I was  :tsc: all the way!!!

(See how epic it could have been? Instead you are all :chainsaw: and :shakesfist: You are ruining :tsc:)

Can we lock out bloodfart and hellhammer of all "dating" threads please? tia.

bloodfart and hellhammer are no creepier than you are in these threads, fanning.
Nobody can be as creepy as me, dumbass.
Could you go stalk jtksu's neighbor and get a photo so he can get some better advice on here? My first inclination would be why not, but it would be beneficial to have a photo prior to giving advice.

jos a banks is pos owned and managed by a group of arkansas alum who take the profits and illegally divert them directly into arkansas football recruits' briefcases.
Due to knew developments, do not start at Jos A Banks. It is garbage.

brooks bros has reg., slim and super slim.  but, as a warning, their slim isn't very slim.  they also do tall sizes AND MOST IMPORTANTLY you can buy non-irons for not much more and you hang that crap right out of the dyer and it looks perfect sans-steamer
Wrinkle free is the only way to go. If you don't buy wrinkle free and you don't steam/iron/dry-clean, then you just as well wear your pajamas.

it was a running joke because an Arkansas fan told us he was going to be at the game in Jos. A Bank clothing and bigtime our faces.
Ahh, thank you for that. Nothing bigtime about Jos. A Banks. Guy was in grad school and asked what we would do different if starting our wardrobe over. I bought a bunch of cheap crap at that age and I would buy a bit better clothes. Jos A Banks is good place to start. It wears well and looks good imho. I don't have any personal need to bigtime anyone with my clothes, but I do buy nicer clothes now. I like the 90th %ile rule that someone (you?) mentioned earlier.

Pretty sure there are some Jos. A Banks haters on here, but I would have started there. They have great clothes...everything discussed on here...good quality. NEVER buy anything at full retail price. They have crazy sales every other week and ridiculous sales once every month or two. (Buy 2, get 3 free is very common).

Maybe you are trying to keep this in terms of present day, but Rolando was pretty adorable, even by today's standards. Also, I loved The Sarge's adorableness factor.

Hi fashion experts, I'm looking for some inspiration. If you could start your wardrobe over from scratch, what would you buy? Where would you shop?

What look do you want to go for?

For me, I'd probably revolve my wardrobe around pants that fit well (non-jeans) and shoes that match.  Be more picky about what I buy.  Only get button-ups that are tailored (cheaper anyways).

First thing to figure out. Pay attention to what guys are wearing in movies and TV shows you watch. Browse GQ or Esquire online or on paper. Check out some street style blogs. Spend an afternoon someplace like the Plaza, just going into different stores and seeing what displays you like. A lot of the looks you'll see, especially in the mags or style blogs, will be more "extreme." Just use them to see what elements you *do* like. That will help you narrow down what stores you want to shop.

If all my clothes burned tomorrow, and I made just a little more, I would buy most of my business-wear staples at Brooks Brothers, with some trendier business/casual from Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Express.

Thanks. This is good advice.

Backpack.
This is also good advice.

A question for  tall people:
I'm kind of tall (6'2"), but pretty thin. So, large shirts are way too baggy, but medium shirts are too short. I've never had much luck finding Med-Tall shirts. Where do you guys shop?
Bring your clothes to a tailor. Not very expensive and you will look and feel great. (assuming you are good looking, otherwise you will just feel great).

where do you work, what do you do? price point?
I'm in grad school for the next 4-5 years. I don't have to teach, so there's no reason I can't dress casually. My price point is fairly modest, but I have some extra cash I want to spend on clothes...

I have great legs and I want to show them off. Do you have a problem with that?
Leave something for the imagination.

That's why he's wearing pants. JFC, some people. . .
Well, if he wore shorts to the interview, he may as well stay home, unless he had a really nice bag carrying his resume.

BTW, get a true briefcase since Mom is adamant. You may not use it for a number of years, but there will be a few occasions that it will be nice to have it.
