ITT, you can give updates about kids' sports, but you'd better not try to one up my awesome soccer reports!

ITT, we discuss real world solutions to the problems with the US Mail Service.
I think they should only deliver every other day. One side of the street gets their mail on M,W,F, the other side gets their mail on T,Th,Sat. Addresses within the same cul-de-sac are grouped on the same day. Rural areas are broken down by miles covered. If you had a special over-night or 2 day package pickup or delivery, then the mail carrier would be in front of your house (or at least near it) all six days, but it would cost extra to deliver or pick up if it wasn't your delivery day. Would be able to reduce the number of letter carriers by 38% (mocat did the math, so I might me a little off).

I have alterior motives to talking about grub burger bar, but the restaurant eatery discussion on gE is somewhat limited to KC, Topeka, Wichita, and Manhattan.
For our gE friends in College Station, Houston, Dallas, and now ATLANTA, do yourselves a favor and try out grub burger bar. Quite possibly the best hamburger you will ever eat, but don't take my word for it, try it and report back!

You guys didn't even know this was a thing, but at the Golf Industry Show (GIS) a couple of weeks ago, our Turf Studs took 10th in the Turf Bowl. Doesn't seem too awesome until you realize that we have all but given up on our turf program at KSU, but we still managed to put some buds together that placed 10th against 70 some teams.

I truly loved all of the tweets re: #LBSU. Just when I thought you would have capped it and tapped out....BAM! a new angle. It was pretty great. Probably the best thing that will happen this season, unless we play them in the CBI.

There are 3 guys in my office that do this (and at least one person on this blog). I get that it is great hygiene and your dentist loves you for doing it, but isn't it kind of gross? I mean, I walk in to the bathroom where a bunch of people pee and poop and here are these guys brushing away. Sometimes it smells like other people's poop in there or they are pooping 6 feet away while this guy is brushing his teeth!

mocat, I was going to post in the credit card thread and ask sd what he was going to do with his remaining 500,000 SPG points. Here is the math part. At one point, I think sd said he had 1,500,000 SPG points. He then took an amazeballz trip to Europe with Mrs. sd and he said he spent 1,000,000 SPG points on the trip. How many SPG points does he have left? All of the zeros are very confusing to me.
