lotta pig lipsticking going on in here

http://www.omaha.com/article/20140209/NEWS/140208719/1001#unl-s-big-ten-windfall-around-the-corner

I don't pay attention to this nearly as much as some of you but I didn't realize how much better of a deal Maryland got than NU

The writer seemingly does not understand the time value of money.  Maryland got a LOT better deal.  Shockingly so, in fact.

Anyone know where the UM/ACC lawsuits stand?  Last I heard form anyone that knew what they were talking about was that the crux of the lawsuit hadn't been heard yet, but that UM lost a couple of preliminary decisions, i.e. outright dismissal, jurisdiction... UM athletics are in a sorry state right now, but I miss when they were a BB powerhouse and were constantly beating the likes of Duke and UNC.

Alright, does anybody know the status of:

Kenzo Cotton CB
David Moala DT
Tramal Ivy DE
Tim Wright RB

All are *** or better (except Cotton, a 6'2" CB w/4.4 speed and a 3.7 gpa) and had the wildwildcats in their final choices.  Are we 100% done?  Any mystrans floating around out there?  Am I right in that Randall Cunningham is going to USC on a TRACK scholly?

Scott said he's going Juco.

Placement at a Snyder-friendly juco?   :crossfingers:

From what I can tell, Kansas State's 10 wins in 1910 were the most in the country, so...   :surprised:

(Harvard was 8-0-1.)

guys this should be our 'ship!

My mistake, Harvard was 9-0-1.

FACTS:
  • LOL, one of Harvard's wins in 1910 was against Harvard Law School.
  • Harvard played 8 of its 10 games in Harvard Stadium.  The away games were a 0-0 tie with Yale and a 6-0 win over Army.
  • Other than @Army and @Yale, other good opponents were Brown and Cornell.  Bates, Bowdoin, Williams and Amherst were trash opponents.
  • K-State's best opponents were @Colorado College (L, 15-8) and @Arkansas (W, 5-0).  Other good opponents were Haskell and @Creighton.
  • 10 wins > 9 wins.

IIRC, Jim Thorpe was playing for Haskell at the time, so we should definitely claim thy Natty

Nope.  Thorpe was at Carlisle Indian School then.  He did run away from Haskell when he was younger tho.  Thanks, Google.

it would be crazy adorbs if our starting dtackles were twins, you guys.

yes, I can't even imagine something better. DT is the perfect position for highest adorable for something like this.

Man, can't you just imagine TWIN LOCKETTS???  My GOD!

Mark Reiner was the recruiter who got Blackman and Curtis Redding and barely missed on Albert King.  Once he left, our recruiting really fell off the cliff.  It was all DITR after that.

Watching the Towson-E. Wash game to see who plays the Lollipops in the FCS champy.  Mrs. Bozo works for Towson so that's who we're rooting for. :crossfingers:
you could take the best players on each of these teams to field a team vs NDSU....and theyd still lose by 20 to NDSU
Towson can move the ball and score, but there D sucks.  And what's up with the red field?  :Yuck:

How long before they can like put a tiny little camera in a person's eyeball so that you can see what that person sees?  Because on ESPNU or something they could play the game from what the QB sees through his eyeballs.

Fair enough.  More like #teamletitburn   :don'tcare:

Recent convert to team BID.  I always hated the oscar hire, but was willing to give him a chance, 'cause I'm all  :ksu:  I actually think we can be pretty damn good in two years with Foster, Westicles and Jevon, with Edwards and the bigs on the way.  I just don't care anymore and that's the crux.  I no longer look and see when the next game is and try to find it on the TV schedule.  I want to care, I really do.  :frown:

wow this place is dead. Especially when you dont have a heisman contender and you're not playing in a BCS game.

Its ok. You can talk FCS playoffs with me still.

NDSU's favored by like 5 touchdowns...so I'll make sure to wave when Im flying to Dallas in a few weeks. At least your lost to NDSU isn't looking bad at all anymore.

Went to a couple of Towson games this year, since the wife works on the development staff and gets free tix.  Don't think you guys have anything to worry about there.  They have a stud RB and the QB can sling it.  Not much D though.

Babytears was a fav of mine.  I liked the UT guy with the Asian lady in his sig, "Cranky" or whatever his name was.

Agree with Babytears too.  Didn't he used to post under a different name before?  Best Plank'r by far.

all I know about Meatchicken is that it's the land of 1000 lakes

That's not true, we are the crossroads of America. Home of Abe Lincoln, Bob Seger and Virtue. We were founded in 1946 under the watchful eyes of Cowboy Bob Orton, a former runaway slave turned Makhnovism politician who founded our great land on three key principles: Hustle, Loyalty and Semetism (pro jew).

We live quiet lives, our daily routines consist of snowmobiling to church or winter badminton in the snow. We take great pride in our shuttlecocks which we carefully hand paint during the children's festival of late August. In truth, we are a lot alike, our two great nations. One Purple, One Blue. I look forward to your God-King penciling us a thoughtful soliloquy after our match of American football.

 good to see you over here cza
I am going to assume a sock. I am still not certain Bread and Michisgood are not both socks. No other posters without direct ties to KSU have ever come on here and been not shitty from post # 1.

I'm not a sock BTW, was linked here from TMB at one point during the brief Forcier to KSU rumors. Enjoyed it and still come around once in awhile.

yes. MIG is like one of only four posters from other schools that is good. if bread is president, he's probably like secretary or something.

The Tasty Greek would have to be VP and The Shocker Speaker of the House

The usual:

We are homosexual for wearing purple.

Our stadium sucks, it looks like a cruise ship.

They really want to pisspound ISU and then beat us next week. (:whistle1:)

Evidently they no longer call us 'taters. They now all in unison refer to us as KSCC.

No fewer than 5 mentions of oscar Weber in a football thread.

That's too bad.  I kind of liked being a 'tater.  "KSCC"... man, that hurts.
