Yeah but you can't exactly pack around your electric to impress chicks.
1. learn the basic chords
2. look up easy songs
3. sing them to girls
4. watch as their panties fly off
This, works best on freshman girls to so get practicing.

don't know. one of my roomates had a guitar that I messed around on. I would probably buy a cheap one (craigs list or pawn shop?) to start.

If you just want to learn to play songs on the guitar look up Tablature(?) This worked great for cireksu in college to impress chicks.
