I'm not worried at all about this one at all.  KU nearly beat them.  KU!!

This is just like when we beat #4 texas and then went out and lost to ku.

Conference title....no one cares who won the 2002 Sugar bowl....titles are what you play for.  Plus, you go to the BCS game and lose.....you got nothing except some tshirts and gym bags.

It looks like the Mizzou fans didn't go to the game out of solidarity with Coach.

truly one of those great SEC type crowds you hear about.

Well, the way the tucks were talking aTm took it all the way up to the last minute, which is what?  A week before the game, five days?

I always thought it was the Tuesday or Wednesday of the week of the game.  No idea why I think that....and I'm probably wrong, but that's what I thought I heard once.

Should have used it to kneecap Landry Jones.  What a waste of a good 4x4.

Look at it this way, MIR.....in 2006 St. Louis won the world series on a Friday night.  The next day, K-State beat texas as a 16 point underdog.  Tonight is an omen.   :emawkid:

Anyone have any word on grant of rights?  The way I'm reading the statement, UT caved on the 10 years in order to get WVU and stay at 10.

quote/link please.

I was wrong, it was a quote from a source, not a statement.

Quote
The hold up, according to a source familiar with the Board meetings, was to further consider Louisville's candidacy. The source said Oklahoma president David Boren wanted to make a pitch for the Cardinals.

However, according to a source close to Boren, the president wasn't in disagreement with others, including Texas, on expansion or grant of rights. It was believed Texas wanted six years and Oklahoma at least 10.

"Our schools are in agreement on expansion and grant of rights," the source told The Star.

Now, I read that source as UT caving on 10 years.

I like the 10yr thing if true.  May be worth the only 10 teams thing.

Hell, yes that would be worth it.  Didn't MU want 10 as part of them staying put??
