so I just bought a new yukon denali and I have to plate/pay taxes on that thing in the next couple weeks. wife got the 100k SW card and I'm going to pay them on it. 2.5% fee but I'm just going to do it. We've got family travel first week of February and I want to make sure we can get a compy pass credit on one of those tickets.

text me if you have any questions

I did the pie too, took nearly an hour to slice those berries and place them in the cream.

The pork belly burnt ends were incredible. I wanted them to take 4 hours but I had trouble controlling the heat of the grill so they were done in 3. Having the butcher trim the fat was clutch. He gave me the trimmings to season my grill and I definitely did it wrong and made a pretty big grease fire in my grill.

What temp on the belly?

Georges French Bistro is pretty great $2 mussels during happy hour as well. It’s just west of Oliver along the north side of central. Do recommend.

Speaking of Georges, I'm probably done with Chesters.  They went cheap on some things and it just isn't the same now.  :frown:

Same owners or something?

George bought Chesters and apparently buys lower quality beef.

Ok last party poop and then I will stop, a pool is basically as dangerous as leaving around a loaded gun for your kids to play with.

Need more good guys with pools.

I'm either putting in a pool or buying a house with a pool. I've tried to put one in but every pool contractor is booked out for like 24 months. need to, like, out bid some jerk who got in ahead of me or something.

Don't say I didn't warn you. The juice is definitely not worth the squeeze. Pool chemistry is bullshit and maintenance of the pumps and lines is even worse. Another hidden pain in the ass of having pools is that there are a lot of really bad pool contractors out there.

i'm with MIR here. I know about 5-6 people with pools and I hear them bitch a million times more about what a PIA the pool is than how much they like having a pool. The best pool is your neighbor's pool.

I bitch about it at times for sure, but it is worth it.  He's absolutely right about most pool contractors being the bottom of construction barrel.

I wrote an extra-fluffy "puff piece" on Clinkscales, Danzel McDaniel and some other high-profile juco dude that didn't pan out back in the day. Basically made him out to be the next Suh. He probably read it and it went to his head or something. blame me.

D'vonta Derricott?

Need to get a bunch more AA miles.  Doesn't appear there are any good AA deals right now.  Wait for a better AA offer or get one that transfers points to AA?

Ice cream is for poor people.

Checks out. Young nicname very much looked forward to $.25 cones from Bosselman’s truck stop. Young nicname was also very poor.

Frozen chicken nuggets is the ticket.

Two restaurant choices, greasy burger and fries, or French bakery/deli - where do you eat first?
If you think you can get me on record taking a stance between TJs and Galete, you’re wrong, mister.
