this team is going downhill.
it started when andy won his power struggle with dorsey. dorsey was a nightmare with the cap. so whatever. but they absolutely should not have hired andy's longtime coffee boy underling to be the "general manager." andy is running this show. period.
andy's buddy, sutton, is simply not good at his job. he's rigid and predictable. his scheme only works if he has playmakers. the only 2 proven playmakers are old and hurt (fuller is awesome in covg. but he's not a turnover machine like 22).
this was all avoidable. andy should have fired his buddy years ago. but he didn't. and he won't. cuz andy reid. they should have managed the situation with 22. but they didn't. cuz andy reid. so they signed david amerson, the cornerback equivalent to wackycat08 the bbs'er. and they overspent on an underachieving wr instead of going after a good cb or s. signing free agent wr's is the dumbest thing football teams do. talented wr's are available through the draft every single year. early rounds, middle rounds, late rounds.. whenever. this is maclin 2.0.

patrick won't lead us to a super bowl until the fat man is shown the door.

bill belichek laughs himself to sleep every damn night knowing that andy reid exists, and that he's viewed as "a winner" and seen by most as the 2nd best/most accomplished coach in his conference.
19 years.. he's mismanaged game clocks and abandoned the running game since i was in high school. he's lost 13 playoff games and his lone super bowl appearance in his 19 years as a head coach in the nfl. he's only won 1 playoff game since 2009, which not coincidentally is the last time jim johnson was his d coordinator. and if you look semi-closely, you'll see that jim johnson was truly responsible for most of andy's success. 19 years.. that's not a track record. that's a definitive body of work.
