ST. LOUIS -- While fellow freshman Andrew Wiggins will leave after the season, Kansas teammate Joel Embiid told ESPN that he will talk to the Jayhawks coaching staff and also his mentor, fellow Cameroon native and NBA player Luc Mbah a Moute, before making a final decision concerning his NBA future.

Jeff Goodman writes that the Jayhawks need improved play at point guard to seriously contend for the 2014-15 title. Story
Embiid said he's not yet thinking about the decision just moments after watching the Jayhawks get knocked out of the NCAA tournament with a loss to Stanford in the round of 32.
"I'm not worried about that right now," Embiid said.
Embiid sat out the end of the regular season and missed the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments with a nagging back injury. He said he could have played on Sunday against the Cardinal, but that the doctors and Kansas staff wanted him to rest until the Sweet 16.
"I would have played in the Sweet 16," he said after the loss. "Definitely. ... I could have played today."
"It was pretty hard watching them lose," he added. "I felt like I could have helped, but it is what it is."
Embiid was considered the frontrunner to be taken No. 1 overall in June's NBA draft prior to the back injury. According to multiple NBA executives, Embiid's draft stock will likely be determined by the medical evaluations on his back. However, it's unlikely he'd drop out of the top three picks -- unless the tests come back with alarming news.

If people really knew all that was going on with this team Post Rating (1 vote)
you wouldn't be all over HCBS, and wouldn't have been so upset about the loss. So much going with this group of guys.. off court crap, guys not focused, HCBS had no other options at this point in the season on rotations.... He didn't trust CF's D to guard at this level- you saw Stanford go right at him on an easy backdoor play on CF's 1st D possession.. was HCBS worry all year... Guys not finishing at the rim all year... He knew he had his hands tied when Ebiid went down too..

I'll go for 30ish about once a month, just casually. We used to play a game in college where 3-4 dudes
would take a shot of beer each minute until the first 2-3 puked to determine the champion. If
memory serves it didn't take all that long, like less than an hour maybe?
What does Will do with the next chapter of his life? He is a "business administration major with a management option." Not sure exactly what a management option is, but that's his educational back ground. Where does this aspiring young biz major from KSU end up?
Does he have the grades for a nice little Koch Industries finance job? If those grades are good, and his lovely wife allows it, he might catch on with PWC, Delloite, or Grant Thornton's business consulting divisions and do some traveling.
If he has dece grades, maybe that "management program" they have over at Collective Brands in Topeka? Maybe catch on with Seaboard's foods division and learns the ins and outs of the hog markets? Maybe working in the B2B sales division for Sprint?
Or maybe the grades weren't the very best...does he go the Enterprise Rental Car route? Get a nice little territory with Frito Lay and move some snack foods. Or, maybe inside sales for Hallmark, pushing the next season's goods to Crown stores?
Where does this rascal end up?
For this whole replacement kid thing to work, the two kids can never ride in the same vehicle because what if there's an accident...
Oh hey, it's JesseJacksonRain again
You can't run Jesse Jackson smack once you're on the record with that 10 black dudes post.
what's this, did I miss yet another #LIFE meltdown
mir, your best comparison would be victor ojelay. engineering, walk-on, from kansas, black. he even has a last name that i don't know how to spell, just like rhodeler
I'll take your ignoring of my point about Omari an acknowledgment that the point was well received
