My bro and I spent about $200 for all of the "good" equipment.  I wish we had just bought Mr. Beer and then poured it down the drain like we did out "good" batch.  I guess you have to be dedicated.  We followed all of the steps, added what we were supposed to, and were pretty excited to try it when done.  The anticipation of 2 weeks or however long was finally coming to an end.  We threw out 23 bottles that day.  We are going to try again some day.  (probably not)
Buying the right equipment is only a small part of it. Guessing you screwed up something along the way unknowingly. It's really not that hard to make, at the very least, decent beer.

Justin Montgomey was in my Geo101 lab in '03. Generally it's a freshman only class. Not for Justin though.

He was in my small group lab. He came in one time 20 minutes late. He sat down next to me, pulled out a magazine and did not look up once the entire class. Me and the other 2 did the work on an in-class project, and when I got up to turn it in at the end of class, Justin looked up from the magazine at me and goes, "Is my name on that?" I of course said yes. I was taking one for the team.

He sounds like a douche.

Something to read first is "How to Brew" by a guy named Palmer. I believe you can read it free online. It's not really that long and is very informative.

Second, you'll want to decide if you want to start with "All Grain" or Extract. I personally think that All Grain is better, but you have to invest in more equipment to make it work. Anyway, decide which way you want to go and we can talk equipment.

Used to, but when your heart has been broken countless times it first callouses, scars and eventually becomes a cold, black mass full of numbness.

Interesting that he thinks KU = Kansas State.  I guess both programs have huge national interest.

Quote
A couple unoffered names that have been listing KU are Aaron Durley and Kenny Martin.
Following logic here. Dude on phog says KU is as important a cog to Big XII as Texas is (not kidding). Big time national media type says KSU is as big time as KU is. Therefore, KSU is as important to conference as UT is. KSU is a monster program.

I think Beems might be some kind of sociopath that is forced to act like he's part of the society, but underneath the facade, he is empty and without feeling.

Thinking of getting a Keystone Light tattoo on my arm, but only make it in tribal writing and go all the way around my arm. Thought about making it written in barbed wire writing, but I think that's a little too "trendy". May have to repeat "keystone light" to make it work on my guns.

Probably skewed due to all the rich K-State fans having money to travel and buy tickets in order to support their teams no matter where they play.
Fixed

Never forget the aTm log roll.
No doubt. Builders: use more twine/bailing wire than aTm did. TIA

Didn't ted bundy say his neighbor's dog told him to kill all those people?
Probably did tell him to. Dogs can be very mischevious.

Welcome kids to Logic 101. Pop quiz! Yeah, yeah, it's the first day, but I think even the dumbest of you can figure this out. KU lost their two best players, both big men, and is taking some scrub of a big man late in the recruiting process. What does this tell you?

:jeapordymusic:

You there, in the back with the asymmetrical head, what say you?

"KU's bigs are gonna suck and Self knows it?"

YES!! What's your name?

""mmm-mmm-Mark"

Mark, you just earned 7 minutes in heaven with my grad assistant Lisa!

"WTF??!!"

Everybody welcome Sam to the board! Welcome, Sam!

As the Buffaloes moves to the Pac-12 Conference, I am selling the banners of each Big 12 school that have hung in the Coors Events Center during Colorado's time in the conference. This item is the Kansas State banner, which measures over 8 feet long. The banners are custom embroidered and adorned with the school's name and mascot name. This is a one-of-a-kind memento of Colorado's rich tradition in the Big 12 Conference.
Would pay $10 (also would pay for shipping).

pretty sure rick daris isn't taller than anyone in the world.
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks of Rick Moranis when I see "Rick Daris"

Kansas State Football / Re: does col-klein run option well?
« on: June 15, 2011, 08:10:17 AM »
CK runs just fine and he's a big dude like a Bishop or a Beasley.  It's just whether or not he can throw worth a crap.  He had big numbers at the SG but his throwing motion is pretty damn ugly.

the kid is a quarter horse.  as long as he has decent accuracy and makes good decisions we'll move the ball.  Hard to contend with a 220lb speed back and a 235lb QB that can break tackles.  Looked to have pretty decent footspeed (4.6ish) on that long TD run vs. KU.

I think we'll be pretty good on offense.  Oline should be fine, RB and WR is rough ridin' stacked.  CK just has to be mediocre and we'll score quite a bit.  Defense though....
I'm not convinced at all that the O-line will be fine. Charlie gives me some hope though.

I hate k state football right now
hate the players, not the game

Surprised they caught him. Fires usually do a really good job covering up motive and big holes in the skull.

Pour a bag of quickcrete over suspected roof leak and get the garden hose. Moisten. Fixed.
