McDermott - "you look around the league tonight and some teams down with us got beat bad at home. We fought the #3 team in the league tooth and nail."
Excellent SLTH postgame.
Best description: Mizzou "oklahoma-ed" the Clones in Ames. KSU fans couldn't describe it any better than that.
Lavendered!
Edit:
Actually, kinda spooky how much it looked like , which is near and dear to Mizzou fans' hearts.
Slightly off topic, but who is ISU's fracking rival? I'll hang up and listen for the answer.
Sort of glad we lost on Saturday because that means yall are completely fracked now
Be really LOL when KU starts their March Madness early by losing to OSU, KSU, and MU to end the season. That would be prime KU form!
if that happened and we beat ISU would that not result in co champs??
My grandpa is a Michigan State alum, with how my luck has been lately, Purdue will win.
Hav, I keep telling you to give up the whole "trying to be our rival" thing. Come on man. Get it together.
Quotecrap is going real bad when ISU fan is clowning you and you can't say a thing in response.
Real bad.
KU has beaten Iowa State five years in a row.
I still can't believe you guys tore down the goalposts in 2005 after you beat a 7-5 ISU team.
It was KU's first winning season since '95, and Iowa State would have been North champs if they had won that game.
It was Iowa State, Beams.
Apparently winning a Cy Young award still doesn't earn the respect of your own inbred fans.
I've been thinking about this. Recently watched a game in an arena that I thought could serve as a model (but can't remember which one it was). It had an upper deck that extended a few rows over the lower deck, kind of like the addition to the west side of the football stadium.
Figure you'd have to replace the roof and rework concourses.
Ain't going to happen soon.
Might as well build a new arena if you have to take the entire roof structure off, rework concourses, and build enough bathrooms and concessions to adequately serve the increased seating capacity.
worked for Kemper Arena, sort of...
Best team in the history of organized baseball.

(Screw you Jim Leyritz )
I can't wait to head down to Busch-West Stadium in Kansas City this summer for the 3 game series vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. I'm still really fracking bummed that we didn't sign Rick Ankiel; life will go on though.A Cardinals fan from Iowa?
Just another desperate attempt by Havs at wanting to be our rival.

$$ to retain our coaching staff? Anyone?
I'm sure expanding Bramlage seating capacity is the last thing on their minds.
They would rather have children who drive around in Bentleys than have 12,000 fans in a seat. I mean, you guys are wearing purple and all... thats rough on the eyes!!
How do you fit 12,000 fans in one seat? ???
Iowa State was fairly recently a 2-seed. Havs, refresh my memory, wasn't that a final four run?
I after that game too much to remember.
Wooly destroyed Hampton earlier that year.
and quite frankly it isn't even close.

They have hot girls though

Does Paul Rhodes face always look like that?
