Can confirm a "swing-by" at the half/3rdQ

Perfect.  Mrs. Kilt will be there as well.  If you can stop by before, you should.  I will have food.  Let me know if you still need parking spot #.

the funny part about that is that the real truth is way worse than the media truth.

@KellisRobinett Kellis Robinett
New Blog Post: Kirk Schulz ( @kstate_pres ) talks TCU, possibile further Big 12 expansion. Doesn't rule out going to 14 blogs.kansas.com/kstated/?p=4682

14 would be fantastic....that being said, will never happen.

Attention TCU: please choose one of the following awesomely colored new logos and stop trying to be us. :dubious:

great post, will share with them.

I personally like the red one cause it has that one silver spike on his back when all the others are white.

5609
And that MU guy thinks they're only gonna pay 8 or 9 million. Wishful thinking you racist eff head.

Yea guess he missed the part that his team signed a 13 year 1 Billion television contract with Fox and 9 other teams.

5610
Here come the BUTThurt MU fans calling into BITB. Oh joy!

I can tell you now that Mizzura has boosters that will help us get out of the Big 12 and will make us not have to pay the full $28 million buyout.

Dillusional fucks.

We should just have the presser today that we plan on adding Louisville, West Virginia, and Notre Dame, then just go out and get them.

I do think we need ND for everything but football.  That way when we do go to 16, they have foot in door.

5613
Wasn't it just said that we would explore additional expansion after TCU?   :dubious:

We're not inviting everyone is a day.

5614
Haha remember when we almost hired their coach?

TCU alum are pretty rich and fairly attractive in my experience :dunno:

This is probably the most accurate statement anyone could make about TCU.  Exchange "pretty" with "filthy" though.

5617
This really hurts Texas A&M.  One more BCS school they have to compete with for Texas recruits.  To TCU's advantage, they are getting new facilities and have had recent success.

5618
Also, is this TCU invite more of an effort to keep Texas recruits in Big 12?  TCU has had more success on the football field in the past 10 years than A&M has.  Large stadium renovation, etc...

5619
I really don't think we'll stop at TCU even if Mizzou decides to stay.  BYU has been pretty vocal about joining the Big 12, but they might also want us to bring in Boise St (Idaho has a large Mormon population as well).

BYU is in no position to demand anything. It doesn't make sense to add them if we also have to add BSU.

Why not?  They are doing fine as an Independent.

Shut the eff up, you assholes.

Cajun food, the French Quarter, vampires, Louisianan recruits....what the eff am I missing?

SEC fans already think MU will be another Vandy.

Quote
We don't want Big Ten rejects in the SEC. There's a reason why the Big Ten doesn't want these clowns and why the Big 12 basically doesn't care that they are leaving. MU is an extremely mediocre athletics program that will provide little value to the SEC. Their fan commitment is not up to SEC standards and they will never win even a divisional title in the SEC.

5623
So if Mizzou goes to SEC, WVU comes to Big 12.  If Mizzou stays, WVU goes to SEC.  Seems pretty simple.

Also Boren says look for expansion in 7-10 days.   :fatty:  Can't wait to play Pitino in basketball.

5624
Personally feel bad for KC area.  Otherwise MU is like that high school friend you really don't care to ever see again, and probably won't see until 10 years down the road at the first class reunion.

5625
Honestly, why cant the IBA host the tourney? It's 3 hours away from 4 of the 8 remaining schools, which is more than Dallas can say.  Maybe a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) point, but it's a brand new arena in a fairly central location.

What is the IBA?

Intrust Bank Arena in wichita

what conference do you think we're in?  the MVC?

15k seating for basketball is perfect for Big 12-4 tournament.
