I'd remove VT.  I'd love to have them, but I don't think you'll be able to wrench them away from UVA.  The SEC was also heavily after them earlier this year, and they said no.  So, I think they realize that they have a great thing going in the ACC right now, and the odds of them going elsewhere are low.

These are pods as I see them:

Texas Pod:
Texas
Texas Tech
TCU
Baylor

Great Plains Pod:
Kansas
Kansas State
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State

Southeast Pod:
Clemson
Florida State
Georgia Tech
Miami

Northeast Pod:
West Virginia
Pitt
Iowa State
Notre Dame*

I put in Notre Dame because I think we'd only be able to work 16 teams, financially, with them in the equation.

The pod system could work like this in football:
3 games against your pod every year
Rotate pods on a two-year basis after a home/away series (4 games)
One permanent cross divisional rival (1 game)
Conference Title game participants could rotate based on the pods scheduled against each other on the two year basis (Texas/Great Plains Pod vs. Northeast/Southeast Pod, Texas/Southeast Pod vs. Great Plains/Northeast Pod).

In basketball, you can schedule it pretty easily.  Two games, home and away, against teams in your pod (6 games).  12 games alternate annually, home and away, with teams in the other pods.  18 game conference schedule.

Cross-divisional rivals can be determined by the schools and conference.  Texas will probably pick OU, FSU and Notre Dame (Maybe?).  It may end up being a free for all because most of the traditional rivalries are maintained within the pods.

It's pretty workable, really.

I think i'm moving downtown (City Market/lofts) after my Masters is done in September. I'm told i'm a respect if I rent. I just don't know if buying a condo is a good idea. I kind of want to rent the first 6 months. I can't remember who said they had a condo downtown at MOAP 2.0. Thoughts?

Condos can be a tough sell.  I have a friend who has a downtown Condo she had to rent out because it wouldn't sell.

I've been told to never buy a Condo if it's not downtown.  Plenty of vacant Condos around the burbs that are brand new and are having a tough time being sold.

  the thought of not having to worry about where we will get stuck due to realignment.

NiƱo injured himself in practice Monday after OU game.  Had been on crutches throughout week.  Still dresses out for practice.

Do not snack.  Never have.

If I do have to have a snack because I'm hungry and can't wait til a meal, I will go for nuts.

he's decent for a walk-on...but he shouldn't be playing more than a couple minutes a game, imo.

I've seen him dunk over HotRod in practice during a 5v5 drill.  Was pretty ridiculous.  Didn't think it was Ojeleye at first, then I was pretty pissed for never witnessing that athleticism in a game.  Coaches really do love him.

Ojeleye is pretty ridiculous in practice.  Wish he would be that way in games.

kansascitysportsfan is just like a beautiful Yeti that randomly trolls message boards looking for the right time to pounce on an anti-KSU subject.  Backed with bullshit talking points that are 99% untrue, he slings his feces in every general direction until people at least pay attention to what he says.  Then he disappears.

I love how much you inbred Ksuckers like to bash KU football. You do realize when OB's retires or croaks on the sidelines from old age ( Which ever comes first) Ksu football will go right back to the basement where it belongs and we won't here a peep out of you Ksuckers on the gridiron board ever again. It will be just like 3  years ago when Ksuck posters on the football board were few far and between.

Ksuckers.  Amazing.

Find this as a good business opportunity to sell purple suckers with the letter K on them.

So if he is not drafted can he continue his misguided college career or is he just mumped?

mumped big time

probably worst decision ever

In this guy's 40 year career, he has held about a billion different coaching position in college and NFL.  Some are saying this was a fallback for not being able to get Leavitt.

It's a place where you can drink out of a boot!

Last time I was there they had a band playing named the Moose Knucklers.

I've had one for over a year and 1/2 now.  I had to get the head replaced....just stopped working randomly.  Other than that it has done pretty well.

new assassin's creed?

Bumped for this.  Yay or Nay?  I enjoyed the last one.
First 2 were painfully repetitive, and the story made very little sense...i'm avoiding this series from now on.

Yeah. The story was so unnecessarily convoluted. I don't give a eff about the reanimaton or whatever. I just want to knife people in the back.

Ended up buying it after Christmas at Target when it was listed for $39.99.

Great graphics.  Gameplay is pretty much the same as the last one.

Few new abilities:
1)  Hidden Blade has a hook for cool moves (can also zip-line by using the hook across buildings).
2)  New move where you can run at an enemy, do a ninja jump over the enemy and kill from behind.
3)  Ability to make different kinds of bombs for killing and distraction.  I didn't utilize this new ability as much as I probably should have.

Storyline is a continuation from the last game.  Desmond is stuck in the Animus, and has to continue to relive Ezio's history in order to snap out of his state of unconsciousness.  (Think getting stuck in the dream like Inception)

Ezio is older, and all takes place in Constantinople.  You also play as Altair a few times during flashbacks.

The ending sets up for the next game.

$75 million is more than a press box.  A press box, at most, would cost us $60 million, and that's for something really, really elite.

There's $15 million in here that has to be accounted for somewhere else.

I'd say it probably is a good deal.   Jiffy's website says it starts at $200+

http://www.jiffysteamer.com/Products/modelDetails.asp?productId=39&steamerCatId=2&basemodelId=8

Comes with the basic attachment...but there is a plethora of additional attachments if desired.

That's what I wasn't sure of.  I don't know what attachments are elite or necessary.  Seems the steamboard is critical.  :dunno:

Is that costco cheap version a skeleton that by the time I add the necessaries, it will be as much as buying a package from jiffy?

I just use the standard plastic steam head that came with it.  Haven't really felt the need for additional attachments.  Thats just me though.

Steamboard?

Don't have, though I think it would come in handy.

don't you think you'll get good (and fast) at ironing after you do it a few times?  or is ironing ability just a gift that some are born with?

Ironing gets old after awhile.  I used to do it all the time, so much that my roommates in college bought me an extreme ironing calendar for Christmas (google image "extreme ironing").  Steaming is faster, and takes up less floor space.

I have this:

http://www.jiffysteamer.com/Products/modelDetails.asp?productId=9&steamerCatId=2&basemodelId=2

It works really well.  However when your collar starts to curl up or the button seems start to curl, you will have to resort to the iron.

EDIT:  Like SF said, do not go cheap.  This guy is pretty expensive but I got it as a wedding gift.  I use it at least 3 days a week.

This is the one I have   Works great.
