Was somebody dogging Colon in this thread? I would feel like a million times better about our post players if he was on our team next year.
Basically my concern is height. Most games Gip is fine, but like LaSalle in the 2nd, there are teams that don't have the answer to it. Diaz may not of been a great option, but I don't think a seven footer is going to be overlooked enough to where you can get one In the late signing period. Would've felt better Diaz improves some and is acceptable enough against mid-majors than take anybody who is out there now. Gip and DJamer are good but are going to be completely ineffective at times.
Yeah it was me, I like LuCo but he was terrible. I used to call guys like him, 5 to give, because that's all they were really good for.
I'll contribute some money to bail her out if you need it, she sounds just wonderful.
My wife and I had our Wildcat jackets on today. Almost had to corral her in the Walmart parking lot when a jayhawk clad fan walked by her and said out loud
"Rock Chalk". She was furious when we got to car. I mean spitting mad. Then we went over to Jason Deli for dinner. While we are minding our own business eating our meal the manager walks up and says "to bad about the game yesterday...I was rooting for you guys even though I'm a hawk fan." She had her spoon in her hand as she was eating some soup and when I saw the soup starting to boil I knew I better say something. Before I could she blurted out "don't feel sorry for us I kind of like being big 12 champs in both football and basketball..you should try it sometime. Feels real good! " I just said WOW...I love that woman! I guess that's why I can't root for those other guys. Their arrogance is on another level.
I thought I was taking the loss well until I realized I've eaten almost an entire pan of cinnamon rolls by myself this morning. :(
