i had 2 sisters that did this.  One had a roommate that had to wake up periodically throughout the night to check her basal body temp because for natural family planning reasons.  The other was matched up with a friend of mine from college.

they both had a 70+ aged couple, who were session leaders, that talked about sex...a lot.

What's up with this Arris Pizza in Lenexa? It's from the weirdo parts of Missouri so I'm skeptical, but on the other hand the reviews are good. It's Greek Pizza which I've never had, but I do like gyros.

Tried it 2 weeks ago. This place was so bad. The cheesiness was good but the crust was just awful

Mrs mocat loves all pizza, but she told me arris was disgusting, like nothing she'd ever encountered before

this is all I need to know to never try it because Mrs. Mocat is a cool cat.

when i worked in Lenexa (Thermo Fisher), I wouuld Holy Land Cafe-it for lunch.  :lick:
$1 beers during Royals games at Arris Pizza

Our grade school went all out. Full day of Kansas related skits, activities, speakers, foods, etc. were also encouraged to dress as pioneers

how about the 'vators in hospitals with doors on both sides.  don't spin around and forget which way you came in

Also, i think it's fun to pretend like you're "going down" when the light flickers.  Gets a jump out of people sometimes.

Planned Infanticide hired a "media forensics firm" - Fusion GPS, which normally does oppo research for political campaigns - to analyze some of the videos. You can find their report online. They concluded that the videos were edited - well duh, of course they've been edited. They also noted a few bits of audio that they're not sure were correctly transcribed. This was enough for PP to hand the report to its media surrogates to gin up some favorable headlines. But they also said the "analysis did not reveal widespread evidence of substantive video manipulation...." They also said there was “no evidence of audio manipulation.”

Hell, the videos are mostly time stamped so you can tell when time has been cut.

you put the ellipses on the wrong end of the actual quote.  CMP did too, so prob not your fault.

Quote
Fusion GPS outlined 42 instances in which CMP edited out content from the short as well as so-called full versions of the tapes, several of which were secretly recorded. The company also identified instances in which context was eliminated, minutes of film were deleted and transcripts released by CMP did not match what was said on the tapes.

The report concludes that the degree of manipulation means the videos have no "evidentiary value" in a legal context, can't be used in "official inquiries" and lack credulity as journalism. Those findings are a direct response to CMP's arguments in court -- while fighting efforts to prevent it from releasing more video -- that it is protected by the First Amendment.

But the firm also wrote that it is impossible to characterize the extent to which the edits and cuts distort the meaning of the conversations depicted and that there was no "widespread evidence of substantive video manipulation.

Why did this situation get so out of control that the cop felt the need to use deadly force OR why did the cop use it so early as a compliance tool?

He probably drew his gun because he's the same guy who would also spend a couple minutes beating the crap out of a guy with his hands up.

46
You wanna let me take a couple punches to your face in a head lock and see how you look?  Pro tip, if you put your hands on the officer in a violent physical action, there will be measure taken to ensure their safety, including physical force.  This scenario is yet another reason why we need body cams to sort out a mess instead of leaving us with this he said crap where a bunch of try hard bitches complain about police brutality assuming the cop is 100% in the wrong 100% of the time.

Quote
“I saw the guy get out of the car, walk toward the officer a little bit and stopped,” the witness said. “There was a little distance between them, and I saw the officer rush him.”

The police report shows Barger raised his hands after the officer pointed his gun at him, but Barger and the witness both said the officer charged toward him and placed him in a headlock.

“By the time he threw me on the ground and hit me a couple times with his elbow, at that point, I was like, ‘This isn’t a police officer — this is just some guy here to kill me,’” Barger said.

The witness said Barger screamed for help as the officer repeatedly punched him.

“They were on the ground for a good two or three minutes, and the guy was screaming, ‘Somebody help me, somebody help me, I don’t know why you’re doing this,’” the witness said.

what are we missing edn?

i very much look fwd to S2.  'Bilderbergs' vs 'Anonymous/Occupy' should be great.

The scene with Elliot and Mrs. Wellick was really tense.  I was expecting something else to be in that baby carriage and did not expect her to be so quickly broken when she didn't get info form Elliot.

Angela.  What to do with her now?  She can't double agent bc CEO knows her and her connections, she's f'd.

fsociety appears fractured, obviously. is it repairable? Does Trenton GAF now that her families problems/debts are erased?. can elliot salvage it at this point? Romero appears to have 0 patience or trust.  Tyrell(???)/Elliot/Darlene offshoot?

White Rose.  MOAR.

The scene after credits, I thought that was the Escalade pulling up to the mansion and from the back the guy that got out looked like Elliot.  :surprised: for a sec that he had been converted over to the 'bergs that Wellick rolled with early on. Really great final line for the season about Nero.
