During August practice in 02 or 03, players were complaining about how hot it was.  Bill addressed the concerns by showing up to practice the next day in a parka. (this was 3rd party info, but I just accept it as 100% true because lol Bill)

I scribbled 'Cross the Line...Grab the Ring' on a football for Fan Appreciation day in 1994(?) and got like 50 autographs on it.  When I got to Bill, he took it from me, stared at it...looked me in the eyes and said "Do you think we can do it?"It was really intense and I can't remember if I was able to speak.

Bill & Darrel Harbert came to my classroom to talk about doing well in school, listening to your teachers, reading, etc.  He asked if there were any KU fans, and ~5 kids raised their hand, Bill didn't skip a beat  looked at my teacher and said "You've got a lot of work cut out for you."

My rankings:

1. Applebee's: Underrated. Pretty good food.
2. Chili's: Decent, but menu items seem like they should taste much better than they actually do.
3. TGIF: Just a hot mess right now. Weird food that does not taste very good.
4. Denny's: Who cares? Have zero desire to order something off their menu let alone taste it.

there's an applebees like right next to the marriott in overland park that I stay at for work that I will sometimes go drink big domestic light beers at for purely atmospheric reasons. usually I've been out day drinking with work people and just crave that ridiculous vibe. this is an irl true thing.
I do this in Rochester, NY and omg

Thanks MeatSauce. I was skipping those two. I knew that much. :)
i lied.  it's DiNic's in RTM, which is fine.  D'allesandros is the best, IMO, but out in Germantown.
is there a specific location?
We're short on time. Already hit Bell and Constitution. Stopping next at Revolution Museum.

How's Campo?
Campo's is fine. cash only, fyi.   Going to be a long line on a Friday
Nice sprint through Old City  That's my neighborhood.

There's 2 places right across from one another that compete. Get a half a philly from both and call it a day.
No. Pats & Geno's are the 'Kites Burger' of steaks here.

Best cheese steak in Philly... ?  Need a ruling by 11central today.

John's Roast Pork or Tony Luke's in S Philly
Dallesandros in Reading Terminal Market (if in Center City)
Lorenzo's in the Italian Market

Can this go here?

how how HOW did you not get a shot opposite the half moon bleachers?

cornell and brown are my two biggest WTF stadium setups.  right up there with the weirdo GT overhang.
Very cold and I had to get back to our sister Ivy's Vet Med facility.

Go Big Red

Franklin Field. Home of the 18x Ivy Champion Quakers. Just a few quickies of this behemoth of an FCS stade. Lower bowl is very steep

Bonus The Setting shot from outside of the 'u' end.

Stay tuned for Pallestra and Liacouras.

So before things got interesting when Texas had 4 turnovers in the first half, there was one ultimate KU Football is hurting moment. They came back from commercial and the camera was zoomed super far across the stadium on the very tippy top corner row above the students section, where there was one lowly KU fan stretched out horizontally, taking a nap under a blanket. Then the camera zoomed out slowly and he was just absolutely in an ocean of empty bleachers. :frown: ku football is hurting :frown:

All I remember from KSU football games as a kid is amazing football plays and us kicking the crap out of everyone we played.  Wish I remembered more about the tree colors and smells in the air.   :frown:
And free Powerbars

Oh hello.

i knew they were packaging it up in some pimp crap.   didn't expedite mine, 7-10 days.  i heard the call center was overloaded yesterday and didn't really care a whole lot about waiting a week for it to arrive.  did you your priority pass come at the same time?
I used the r/churning link last week...
PP coming separate

i would trust LHC Bill Snyder to give a bulletproof alibi for me
He seems like the type of person who would aid someone in committing a crime, so long as he approved of the crime.
Basically he's IRL DeNiros character from Sleepers

i lived in ARL pretty close to JerryWorld from 09-11.  There wasn't really anything around there, but it's probably built up now. Sherlocks is great people watching.

Grapevine would be a good choice, but it is a hike; However 360 is your friend for the mid-cities and cuts from DFW to Arlington.  I would live in Hurst, Euless, or Bedford, maybe even dt Ft Worth.  Unless you're looking at the Dallas side, then just pick a spot on the map.

Not sure if it's still the case, but keep your out of state tag as long as you can and use the Tollways.  They won't (didn't) bill out of state vehicles.

I have Vue in Philly thru Xfinity.  All local channels are live as is CSN(phils, sixers, flyers), ESPN pkg, Fox,FS1&2, BTN, SEC, Bein Sports.  All the other normal cable channels, for $45/mo.  haven't noticed a quality issue, even with a 2nd device going at the same time.

Only downside, and this is Comcast related, is not being able to stream HBOGo as a standalone.  :curse:

the final version will have a gE reference, right? I mean, this is just the mock up to sell it, right?

I don't know.

I haven't put together a site with the shirts or anything yet. I was thinking these things will sell beyond just the folks of gE. Also, I plan to communicate with Purple and Black/JO to make sure its okay with them. Finally, I think the Anderson silhouette might get me another C&D letter.
Looks like the silhouette to the philly city hall to me...unless Kstate has the monopoly on steepled building shadows, fire those babies up.

« on: March 28, 2016, 03:53:48 PM »
i had 2 sisters that did this.  One had a roommate that had to wake up periodically throughout the night to check her basal body temp because for natural family planning reasons.  The other was matched up with a friend of mine from college.

they both had a 70+ aged couple, who were session leaders, that talked about sex...a lot.

Wait? Why was the lady doing "natural family planning" before her Catholic wedding?

yeah, they probably wanted to be ready for the wedding night. (:crossfingers:!)
something like this...making sure she knew her 'calendar.'  My sister didn't get clarification.
