went to the mhk theater last night. not much good showing so we went to jack ryan. actually decent. not like groundbreaking or anything but it was ok and then with like 11 minutes left, lights start flashing, the movie stops and then a pre-recorded female voice comes over the loudspeakers and is all "there has been an emergency event in the theater. please evacuate immediately. there has been and emergency event in the...." i mean oh my god you guys i'm all pow pow pow somebody is probably shooting up frozen or last man standing as we speak lets get out of here. high tail it to the back exit and then hop in car and leave. call theater on the way home. someone had pulled the fire alarm.

nope. maybe check with uber book reader michigancat though. that guy reads like six books a day and i'm sure would like nothing more than to tell you about it.

Probably going to need something now.  Happy hour yesterday went from a couple beers to getting to her house at 10:30 when I was supposed to be there by dinnerish.  Already got her a gift and we decided not to go out to eat tonight since we went out Wed.  She bought herself flowers for her apt...

Also, I am pretty hungover right now.

I would just love to see a whole student section storm the court of a neutral site national championship game

They do this in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament and the D2 championship game. In both games they put the student sections under the baskets and let them go when the game is over.

that's awesome. i bet there are people who are typically butthurt about court-storming, who see that happen, and they are all "ok see NOW it's ok"

mocat- when are you wanting to go? what miles do you have? is mexico in the mix or just carib?

either late this fall or next spring. i have 100k+ delta skymiles. mexico is in the mix.

delta is the only airline i know nothing about. my advice would be to book something flight was now though with points if possible and worry about which AI or whatever later and way later if needed. how nice do you want? super nice? nice? just a place to booze for three days?

as soon as a date is finalized i will have a better idea, this is very early stages. thanks for the input. if there is an AI that pops up that looks very nice and it includes airfare, i will probably do that and use the miles on something else
