When I said, "If Bill can't pull us out of this no one can." Well, all i was saying is I have ultimate confidence in him to "calm the waters". I don't expect him to be here long term, i never did.Ig I'm pretty new here, why do u guys think OBz is a disaster? It doesn't make any since to me at all.Nothing like an RP vs. OBz debate.
Sometimes thinking Ron Prince was mostly clueless as a football coach has nothing to do with Snyder, nor is it an endorsement for Snyder. JMHO.
Yeah, I agree that RP sucking and OBz being a disaster now have no relation to each other.
It's pretty obvious now isn't it luke? I mean, you surely remember Bills first tenure - when he had assistants that were successful at everything they did. I'm sure you've heard of the famous LHC Bill Snyder tree of coaches. I mean, that's the reason you like LHC Bill Snyder - am I right? "He's the only one that will be successful at KSU" you say. Well, that sounds like loser talk to me, Luke. LHC Bill Snyder is not a God. Do I love him for what he did for KSU? Of course. But the coaching tree is dead, Luke. It's Dead. There's not a single coach on this current staff that could even be a head coach of a High school. Surely you can see that. This isn't by chance of course. Bill knows good talent & he knows good coaches. Bill not wanting to be successful isn't the problem. It's the very nature of the situation that is the problem. Look at it this way Luke. You're a coach, and as a coach, you know that job security is hard to find. Most coaches move every 4-6 years. If you were a hot commodity and you were good at what you did, would you take a job with an organization that will be firing all of the coaches & starting fresh in 1-3 years - as soon as "the waters were calmed" ? You would know that as soon as you did your job well, meaning you were winning & the waters were calmed, you would be out of a job. You wouldn't do that Luke; because you're a smart kid. So where we're at now is Limbo, Luke. You know what Limbo is, right? Of course you do, We already covered how smart you are. We're not going anywhere Luke, we're just waiting for a chance at a SLTH, which is a Solid long term hire, but you already knew that with that big ol' brain of yours. Well Luke, surely you can admit that Manhattan Kansas is a much different place than it was in 1988. I mean, we have facilities, we have a tradition - no matter how short it is, it's still a tradition. We have a small amount of recognition as a proud football school. No matter how little it might be, it's still light years ahead of where we were in '88. KSU is no longer futility U. Bill played a major role in that, and I for one am grateful. But you know what I don't like Luke? I don't like letting my 90 year old grandfather take the drivers wheel while my kids are in the back-seat. I love my grandfather and I know he was capable of driving my kids around maybe 5-10 years ago, but there's those little signs that make me think he might pull out in front of a effing semi Luke. Can you imagine the lifeless bodies being turned into jello puddles & possibly hearing that last rasping breath as blood fills their lungs as they slowly drown in their own fluids? I sure don't want to hear that sound Luke. Not again. Well Luke, Bill can still drive this van & he can still tell when that light is red & certainly never confuses his break peddle for his gas peddle. But he's been driving for 16 god damn miles with his left blinker on 5 under the speed limit in the right lane. I'm not worried about him killing us, yet. But I sure as hell would rather someone else drive my kids around. And there are A LOT of coaches out there that are not only capable of driving, but are begging to. You know what I mean Luke?
