There will be someone really good still left in the second round at WR if they choose to go that route. I'd be shocked if they used their first on one.

Let’s make it a third rounder

Kim Carnes is going to be I-told-you-so'ing about cheap WR's forever now.
I'm not 100% sure kim saying the chiefs would be idiots to draft a wr means he is pro-cheap wr's

The real embodiment of what I was saying is that we’re fine with what we have at the skill player positions to have an effective passing game.  I don’t think we should use a first or a second on a wr this year (or even a third).  You don’t need two pass catchers like hill and kelce on the same team when you have mahomes and reid.  I’m all about defense and offensive line.

I’m somewhat concerned that our defense is gassed from carrying

At this rate the defense will be dead by the fourth

It’s a great economy if you’re a baby boomer with a lot of assets, it’s horrible for anyone who wants to acquire assets at a reasonable price.  So it’s bad for like 95% of the population (really, closer to 99 but I’ll be generous).

I agree with your grievance but I think wealth inequality and the economy are separate conversations.

Wealth inequality didn’t create these conditions, economic policy did.

chicken egg

The optimist in me believes that in the next few years, there will no longer be some mystique about ronald reagan and everyone will realize "oh crap, everything really changed to a shitty trajectory like the day he took office"

Like as a fun game, take just about anything policy-related that you don't like or seems completely unfair to everyone except gazillionaires. 99.9% of the time there is a straight line back to ronnie.

the thing i hate most about him is he did not deserve any of those tornado blowies from nance

Bro wtf are u talking about

kimberly do i really need to explain this to you or are you just goofin? b/c i mean, i can if you want.

for now i'll just put this here. see how that blue line and red line really start to sharply diverge (or develop a gap) i'll keep going if you'd like but its entirely possible you were just gEin with me

You’re blaming reagan for post-covid real estate prices, u sound insane

Earlier in this thread you blamed economic policy for real estate prices, and now you are blaming covid? WHICH IS IT, KIM CARNES?

Also Carnes, this is how capitalism works.  If you are unable to compete the socialist chicken exit is over there, comrade.

Hey bud, the policies were implemented during covid.

the free market does free market crap.  Real estate is valuable because there is a finte amount and your loan is expensive because you are a credit risk.  It's been that way for a really long time

dude what are u even saying?  real estate is expensive because of fed and govt policy/spending since covid began

Unable to read the article but Krugman may have talked about something similar in a thread I found interesting.

Americans hate the economy, I’m pretty sure that’s been documented in many polls

All the big money is on the niners but i don’t care.  I DONT CARE

yeah not great. hopefully that's just to go against the public (76% of public money is on the chiefs ML last i looked)

thursday however: chiefs ML is down to +100  :dunno:

Down to 68% of money on chiefs... 9ers getting some love

The overall money is close to 50/50, there’s just a larger number of bets on the chiefs
