What an amazingly ridiculous way to lose to the worst team in the league and lol at the sound guy playing the goal horn to try to convince the referee that the puck was in the net when literally no one in the arena knew where the puck was, the red light never even came on. Also what happened to blowing the whistle when the puck is out of sight? To make matters worse I watched this game with my wife and in-laws all upstate new yorkers.

I'd be more mad if Buffalo wasn't my first love, I liked them back to Pat LaFontaine. I'm glad they brought him and Ted Nolan back, don't know how much they will help with that trash roster though.

Fact #1:  Foster is one of the two best Freshmen in the BigXII.  Fact #2:  Foster is one of the ten best Freshmen in the USA.  Fact #3:  Foster is one of the best Freshmen to ever play basketball in Manhattan, KS. 

So, really, I see no need to make imperfect comparos to other stud Freshmen at KSU.  Dude is really good. 

  to hoping that Thomas is a stud too and this combo delivers us many wins and NCAA tournament appearances over the next 4 years.   

Truth, if Frank had brought in Foster, people would be creaming their jeans.

Literally the worst thing said about Marcus Foster itt is that some don't want to call him better than the team's all time leading scorer 11 games into his career, people should stop being so mean.

Good lord, he is isn't better than Jake was as a freshman. Foster has more ppg but it is with many more minutes and less efficiency. Jake was the fourth scoring option for most of that season and only started a handful of games. He played with two of the best scorers in the history of the school. Some of you need to go back and watch that KU game, if Foster has a game when he scores like that, even with this group of cripples that he's playing with, then we'll talk.

Is he even better than freshman Angel?

I think 9-9 would require some work in the B12 tourney, barring a win against KU or OSU.  19-12 can possibly get a team in but no team can feel good about their chances at 19-12.

I was preparing to rebut this post then I did a little research. Last season Iowa was .500 in the Big 10, the #1 conference last season, they had 5 top 50 wins and a win in the Big 10 conference; they were 21-12 and winners of their last 7 of 10 and they were left home.

GW could be the toughest game of the 3. Ole Miss and Gonzaga both had pretty good crowds for our guys to play in front of. There may be < 3,000 people at the game on Dec 31 at 2pm...

We played a NYE game against Hampton a couple of years ago and it was sold out and very loud.

Kayak.com openly admitted to making a poor decision.  Lowe's decided to avoid the issue, before any petitions hit their front door.  Corporations decide not to advertise on tons of different shows for several reasons.  They recognized the political and religious implications of advertising on the show, when a very large portion of their customers frankly are not very accepting of Muslims.

I think they both mumped up, but boycotting them seems a bit much.  As I said before, everyone is a bigot, I could probably find a few racially, or religious, or sexual orientation based eff ups by other stores you shop at.  Where does it end?

I take it that you don't actually remember what happened with the All-American Muslim controversy.  Lowe's pulled their ads because some religious nut in Florida said that since the show didn't portray Muslims as terrorists it was an inaccurate portrayal.  There were no petitions coming, this happened well into the season, and even if they did I would hope that the people at Lowe's would be smart enough to realize that advertising on that show wouldn't hurt the bottom line. They did get a petition of 200,000 signatures asking them to reconsider and they didn't.

kayak.com panicked, pulled their ads, then the CEO penned one of the most horrendous excuse letter I have ever seen. That letter will be studied by PR students for years as an example of what not to do. Best case scenario is that the guy is a gigantic moron, worst and most likely case is that he is a rough ridin' liar.

Bottom line is this isn't a case of a company having a rogue employee that said something regrettable, it was two businesses that made a decision to bow to the bigotry of one man. I eat at Denny's and they had institutional racism, they owned up to it and made it right.

It's not a rationalization, it's a commentary.  Everyone is a Bigot, glass houses, etc.  Take these opportunities to examine yourself, not just the person(s) in the news.

It was the FFA, not one nut job, and yes the FFA sent a petition.  Which was part of the uproar, that Lowe's would give such a group the time of day.  I guess you need to look again.
