Not who you think will start but who do you want to see? I would love for the starter to be Delton. If a true freshman can win the QB battle for LHC Bill Snyder he would have to be a mega stud and that would mean no more QB battles until 2019. Still #teamdelton

ESPN has had amazing coverage of this, it's so uplifting. Impossible to watch it and be in a bad mood. This might be the best thing ESPN has ever done. I'm sure there are people being exposed to Special Olympics for the first time watching this.
They just told the story of an Irish golfer whose mother died in a car accident when he was in the womb. The doctors used forceps to extract him and it caused brain damage and he lost the use of his fingers. He was adopted by a pub owner who used a golf ball to teach him how to use his hands with his fingers and ultimately taught him how to golf. He became one of the best teen golfers in Ireland. Bullies broke all of his fingers so he then had to relearn how to play. He won the golf competition in the 2003 games in Ireland now he's back competing in these games.
Seeing the emotion in these athletes and seeing how competing makes them feel is awesome.

We absolutely stink. I haven't hit the panic button until today, we have no way to score without Marcus on the floor. We are 40 minutes from the start of conference play and at this point we are without a doubt the 9th best team in the conference.
I really don't know how you can avoid laying this completely at the feet of oscar.
Sidenote LOL about Stan not understanding the difference in what 16 seconds means to college basketball in relation to the NBA. This whole thing is a total crap show

So this summer this kid from Iowa named Brandon Ellingson took a trip to the Ozarks and decided to do a little underaged drinking, well his punishment was murder by the Missouri HP. IMO this is much much worse than the Michael Brown incident but it won't get the national media attention. This kid was undoubtedly murdered but because of lying cops and small town cover-ups these cops will literally get away with murder and are still out there "serving" the public, its disgusting.
This article is long, at least watch the video, it is a disturbing account of how little these people care about the lives of the people they are supposed to be serving. There are many articles from primarily either Des Moines or CoMo/Jeff City about this but nothing nationally, this is the most comprehensive. This reporter did an amazing job and I hope she wins an emmy.

This is a little late but I saw this report yesterday and heard Kietzman's podcasted comments this morning.

I really don't understand how Mike Alden continues to keep his job when this stuff keeps popping up. He has a coach tell one of her players not to report an assault, I mean wtf.
So that was no doubt horrible, right? Well to Kevin Keitzman the greatest tragedy in all of this is that ESPN seems to be picking on Mizzou because of their SEC domination.

So given an hour to clear his head, perhaps listen to someone around him that might have the balls to get him to cool it, he decides not to tone down the rhetoric but to double down on it.
25 more minutes of crazy blaming of ESPN, people with agendas to push title IX, and apparently all media except for 810 WHB AM. My favorite part of this is when Leabo tries to calm everything down by explaining that title IX isn't about college sports, Kevin agrees with him says that no one understands that about title IX then proceeds to state that title IX is the reason that thousands and thousands of male athletes that don't get scholarships because of title IX, then told an off color joke about women's golf. He also proceeds to blame title IX for the reduction of football scholarships to 85. Title IX had nothing to do with that, being a Kansas State grad of his age I would think he would know that the scholarships were reduced to assist universities with keeping up with the like 8 schools who had the ability to fill 100 football scholarships.
Anyway, this rough ridin' guy is a worm and Mizzou has a serious issue with how their athletic department deals with women.

I was in Ames high school on Saturday and they had a Harrison Barnes display and in that display they had a poster about a ESPN game that was played in Hilton Coliseum that was made-for-tv matching up Barnes and Richmond. We obviously know what happened to Barnes, but what was Richmond's deal? What happened to him at Illinois?
