I wished him luck for the game. He gave me a big sigh and continued to walk away with his head down. I asked him what was wrong and how I could help? He just replied back: "I'm nervous for the game tonight, I don't think I could take a 4th loss in a row." I quickly consoled him and reminded him "it's just a game, bud. By the end of the day, we'll still be best buds." He said thanks and quickly glanced at my lunch bag, "what's for lunch" said the KU fan. I told him it was leftovers from capitol grill. It was then I noticed, he had no lunch, so I offered to split it with him and he quickly gave me a hug for my gracious offer. No matter what internet buds, remember to TSC today.  :tsc:

Never have I heard something so sweet.  I'm not buying this bullshit for one second, you probably spit on his half of the food.

I don't like it when KU fans troll us about this being a really close game.  I don't like it one bit.

No trolling on my part, I'm legitimately worried about this game.

Big 12 (6)
 Projected Champion: Kansas State  :gocho:
At-large bids: Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State
Tournament: March 13-16, Kansas City, Mo
.

That's not happening since KU would not play Iowa State in the round of 64.  I did find it funny that KU still got the KC pod and KSU gets shipped out west,

why in the eff did this turn into a thread about ku football attendance

Excellent question. Wondered the same thing.   :dunno:

Because KSU fans always manage to turn discussions back to football.  It is a gift.  You are all virtuosos

I don't think that will be the case this year.  I expect the score to bu much closer at the under 12:00 timeout.  Very good chance KSU is leading.  For any bettors out there I would run and put money the KSU covering the 9 point spread before it gets lowered.  That line is a bet your mortgage line.

Just kind of has the feeling of a perfect storm for us to walk in there and get unloaded on, which happens pretty much every time anyways

My roommate, who is a KSU fan, said basically the same thing.  I can understand that point of view but just looking at how these teams have been playing the last week, I don't see it happening.  If a blowout happens it will be the Cats killing the Hawks. If KU wins it will be close.

If we finish with the same record as KU, and our two records are the best in the Big 12, then we're calling it a championship.

“It’s whatever the conference rules are; that’s what you go by."

Since it is a true round robin now are there still split championships, or have they gone to some ridiculous tie breaker scenarios to get one true champion?

KU fans all over facebook are bitching about KSU fans, then dumbass KSU fans defend it by comparing it to KU fans' reactions after KSU lost to Baylor, but the big difference is, when KSU lost to Baylor, it didn't mean crap for KU. When KU lost to TCU last night, it meant the world to KSU. Shot at the title is now a definite possibility.

it makes sense to be excited after last night since it did impact KSU and their chances at a title.  What you are missing is that KSU fans act like this everytime KU loses regardless if such a loss impacts them in any way.

Do we act like this every time KU losses a football game?  :peek:

Of course not, that would take too much energy.  Those losses come fast and often.  I wish it wasn't the case, but that is reality.

Assuming we both win Saturday, KSU will be ranked higher than KU

i don't think this is true

How so?

We have 4 losses. They have 3.

4 > 3

You may need a refresher course in how rankings work I'd advise you look at this weeks rankings. Of course we'll be higher than Kansas if we win on Saturday, its utter stupidity to think otherwise. It was a historical loss, if KU wins on Saturday they will be ranked around 20.

You are bad at understanding rankings.  If both KU and KSU win on Saturday, KU will be ranked higher than KSU but it will be close.

Seems like we have a real influx of Racist Pieces of crap for this Black History Month.

WTF?

Is this simultaneously Out Yourself As A Racist bad person Month too?  I guess that makes sense if it is.  I mean, related topics and what not.

Nope, it just is the vocal folks on these boards.  Look at one of the icons you can use,  :opcat: and you wonder why racist folks take a liking to it.

 OKclone hurts the image of goEMAW.

He is only the latest in a long line.  KSU fans hurt the image of goEMAW.

They have to beat their chest since no one in the media will beat it for them. They feel irrelevant, so they have to back each other up to feel more relevant, it's pathetic really.

You are part of this chest beating Clone.  Don't try to duck your responsibility.

This thread is fantastic. Just non-stop hilarity, congrats to all of you.
shut it, squawk.

Well excuse me kitty cat, sorry to intrude on the Farmageddon chest beating.

Season is done for KU.  Guards win games in the tournament.

It is real cute that you think the season is done.  Bring that nonsense when KSU makes it further than KU in the tourney.

With Bill Self and the 'Hawks in a complete tailspin, he basically has zero competition.

Yeah 19-2 is clearly a tailspin.  The Hawks certainly have some issues they need to get worked out, but a tailspin.  Come on man, lose the purple tinted glasses.
You must be taking this pretty rough.

Well I'm certainly not taking it awesome.  :barf: about sums it up. I am not taking it so bad that I am throwing this whole season away.
