That sounds like what KSU fans thought when Bill left the first time. How did that work out for you?

When Snyder left the first time KSU fans thought the program would be fine. Then Ron Prince happened and Snyder had to come back to salvage his creation. What happens when Snyder retires for good? My guess KSU becomes a slightly above average football program at best.

« on: February 12, 2013, 12:20:39 PM »I don't usually don't complain about officiating but Withey flailing everytime he was within arms reach of Gip was flat out embarrassing. On the upside (for the good things thread), it shows how intimidated he is by Gipson. I think that bodes well. Gipson did well to keep his cool.
Also shows how Withey will be terrible in the NBA.
Foul trouble on the posts greatly contributed to their rebounding/post advantage. Earlier, people mentioned how 3s don't bode well for offensive rebounding, and past stats bore that out. But I would think they would actually up the percentage as it contributes to more long rebounds so even if the defense is "in position" some go over their heads.

I don't live there anymore, but I was born and raised there. I had no real influence on that decision. Plus you shouldn't hate on Garden City, western KS is a KSU stronghold and Garden City is a prominent city out there.

I'm taking Angel hands down.
I still think KU's weakest position is the 4 spot. Young is a nice role player, but he isn't the kind of player who should be starting at a program like KU. Teams are able to put more pressure on our guards, because they don't respect our low post game. Withey isn't forcing double teams like T-Rob did last season, and it's really killing our offense.
The 4 is a weakness, but Angel brings a much needed toughness to this team. If you have a improvement at PG, I don't think the weakness at the 4 is magnified as much. Young and Ellis would be getting a ton more bunnies because of Angel's ability to create and distribute.
