Watched Secret Life of Walter Mitty this weekend.  Pretty solid, definitely worth a Redbox rental.

I have been slacking in my video game playing.  I still have not found the balance to be able to play after moving in with my girlfriend.  She doesn't care that I play, but I enjoy having marathon gaming sessions and that just does not seem possible anymore.  I need some help guys.

Just FYI - Rasmussen no longer "leans right." After it missed in the 2012 election cycle by underestimating the Dems' ability to turn out dumbasses to the polls, it has dramatically altered its models. In fact,

This is by far one of my favorite things that Republicans bring up when they lose elections.  The Dems only won because they turned dumbasses (read low info voters) out to the polls.  So apparently Republicans love the American system of democracy and voting, but only if you are the right kind of voter.  Got it.

Well, K-S-U doesn't speak for all Republicans, but he would like to restrict voting to property owners.

It's an indisputable fact that Dems kicked the GOPs collective ass in the ground game in 2012. And it's my opinion (backed by a lot of facts) that libtards are libtards. Not sue what's terribly controversial about what I said. The point remains, Rasmussen's models now reflect a more favorable electorate for Dems than many other pollsters - not less. I suspect they've over corrected, but that could be wishful thinking.

What's controversial, if you will, is that you are saying the reason the Dems beat the GOP last election cycle is because, as you put it, "dumbasses" voted.  I have a sneaking suspicion if those same people would have voted for the GOP you would not call them dumbasses.  You are classifying an entire group of people because they didn't vote how you wanted, so you assume they have no idea what they were doing.

The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Re: Benghazi Hearing
« on: May 08, 2014, 08:30:02 AM »
I enjoyed The colbert report last night showing a clip from "The Five" on Fox news.  Had one of the anchor guys trying to come up with some conspiracy for why the White House handled Benghazi the way they did, but his timeline was all wrong and he got called out on it, on air, by another repub anchor on the show.

The guy tried to say the Benghazi attack happened before Bin Laden was killed so the President didn't want to look soft on terror by admitting the truth.  Pretty LOL stuff.

So I'm all about people organizing and protesting things they are passionate about.  I don't have an issue with someone doing what they feel is their civic duty, even if my idea of civic duty differs from theirs.  What really irks me is when these protests/events take place and every time someone gets arrested the organizing entities make a federal case against the arresting police departments.  Now I have no doubt that some of the arrests should not take place.  I also have no doubt that some officers in the police departments are way too aggressive towards these people and should be punished for their actions, but not every arrest is illegal and a result of police brutality.

It is like these organizations have no idea about PR and don't realize that they do more damage to their causes when they make every arrest a police brutality or abuse of power issue.  Just my two cents.

The second one was a little disappointing. ..I think they tried to rush it.  I'm hoping that they have taken their time with this one.  I love the mythos and gameplay. And since my lady distraction is moving away . . .I'm going to have SO MUCH TIME for video games.

From what I have read the new Dragon Age is getting back to the roots of the series.

Pfft, WtW.com scooped this story 2 days ago. Old news.

Why didn't you tell us?

Because Spracs doesn't really have the best interests of gE at heart.

Holy crap Tharpe is gone.  I did not see that coming at all.

They're pretty sure.

Left the window slightly cracked to being persuaded otherwise.

I'm going to go ahead and say that these types of political contributions are why there needs to be meaningful campaign finance reform.

Also, TIA to the person who puts together the actual amounts spent by the Koch brothers and the individual democratic donors.

I just want to drop information that will likely lead to a possible person on the throne, but since all you rubes haven't read the books I won't do it.  You are welcome.

This is not representative of the entire fan base, just the vocal minority.  Most would love if Embiid came back, but completely understand him leaving for the NBA.

Chop is just a gorgeous display of basketball play design.  There are so many options that even when you know it is coming, it is still almost impossible to prevent a shot.

Essentially Flyertalk / Question about Credit Checks
« on: April 04, 2014, 02:51:15 PM »
Where is a good place to go about checking your credit?  I have heard a million different ways, reasons not to do it, etc....So I figured I may as well come the good ol' reliable gE crowd to get some information.  Don't fail me now.

Reports are that Danny Manning accepted the Wake Forest job.  Why did you do it Danny, that place is a black hole for coaching careers.

Rumors are that Joe Dooley is going to be in the mix to replace Danny at Tulsa.

IME nurses are like the craziest/dirtiest so like I doubt this is out of the ordinary for her nor will it change her decision making in the future.

Alright which one of you is Abe Vigoda on Twitter?  Just trolling a writer for the KU SB Nation sight about Massa Self.

23
They always are.  KU is in the heads of gEmawers more than Obama is in the head of Republicans.

24
Has it been confirmed that she is actually married?
