Yea, Weber was at SIU. Basically got the UI job off of their S16 run in '02? Painter took over after he left but only stayed 1 year

Don't know what the word around the NAHL is but rumor is several more CHL teams (especially those from the southern part of the league) may be moving to the NAHL. Seems player costs are causing alot of them to lose money and the increased costs of travel that was made worse this season by its merger with the IHL has kinda forced their hand.

Could be interesting the next few years to see how it all plays out, but it certainly looks like the CHL is becoming more of  northern league while the NAHL is treading more southward.

I predict we start out the season getting picked around 6 or 7 in the BXII preseason polls. We have an up and down preaseason, winning most of the games we should, but not by as much as we should, and going about .500 in the games that we're predicted to lose/toss up types. Once BXII play rolls around we lose a couple early games we probably should win, then about February the team really starts to pull together and we pick up a big time upset (KU or UT?) and see the media start to climb back on our nuts due to our all around adorableness. With our surprising 4/5 place finish we become the bubble darling and either sneak into the tourney or are the Colorado of this years tourney.

McGruds starts to become a consistent scorer (ala Jake as a Jr.), JO starts and takes over CK's roll in dominating half the game and dissapearing the other half. Sprads starts at pg and is Bobby Knight's viagra whenever he does our games.

Now my hopes for other players next year. Southwell develops a scoring touch. Gipson comes on strong and ends the season as a 6pt/6reb/1block a game type. Samuels continues to play the Lu role, but scores a little more. Angel shows some handles and plays about 20-25 min/gm not scoring much, but setting up sprads and mcgruds to rain 3's. Nino, 95, Nick?, Diaz, Irving, and Canada all provide solid minutes off the bench.
