I'd rather be on this side of it, but ripping apart the ACC sucks.

No it doesn't. At all.

This. I'm thirsty for ACC blood.

Conferance realignment is war. If you're not ready to kill you're ready to die.

Do or die time for Phoenix.  LA has been a complete monster in the post-season.

Assuming LA finishes, I hope they face the devils

Hoping for Phoenix comeback just because it's the only thing keeping it from being a LA vs. NY/NJ Stanley Cup :jerk:

Not gonna happen but how butthurt would the goEMAW NBA fan contingent be if the conference final matchups are OKC/SA and IND/PHI?

Love the summer olympics
Summer Olympics kick the Winter Olympics ass. Other than a few sports (any of the luge/bobsled sports, hockey, speed skating, and ski jumping) the Winter Olympics suck but I'll watch the crap out of anything in the Summer.

Curling is my favorite olympic sport of all

Forgot about curling... add that to the list of acceptable winter olympic sports.

Why make a trade for an ace when Paulino's turning into a strikeout machine?

#teamfelipeforace

this. and bring back zack in the offseason. he didn't sell his house, the brew crew suck again, and if they convince him that he's the missing piece and get over the butthurt and tell country breakfast to be nice and crap...things could get interesting.

Would be amazing if Glass would open up the checkbook and get Greinke.

Greinke
Paulino
Odorrazi
one of Montgomery/Verdugo/Lamb
Chen/Hoch

actually looks like a respectable ML rotation. If Odorrazi isn't ready to go or none of the other prospects step up then send a couple of prospects not named Myers or Odorrazi for a 2/3 type. Don't really expect Glass to do it though.

Falcons waived DT Ray Kibble.
Signed as a priority UDFA at the end of last month, Kibble didn't show enough in rookie minicamp to stick. In corresponding moves, the Falcons announced the signings of FB Lee Meisner, TE Aron White, and WR Kenny Stafford.

Obviously they didn't try him on the kick block team

You're thinking of Raphael Guidry

Crap :goodbyecruelworld:

Man, this conference realingnment is like WWII and the BigXII is the allies. When Beebe was in charge we where like when Germany and Italy where just rolling over Europe taking everthing they wanted. Now we're like the allies once the US got involved and kicking ass and taking names, soon to rule the world.

Is this our official mcmw moment for the year? Do we now go on to be ridiculously awesome because of it?

Never have I seen two initials in the context of KSU BB look so similar but be so opposite.

It really is the full circle of emotions

I feel like Broxton is just teasing everybody right now and his pitching is about to fall off a cliff.

He scares the crap out of me when he's in there with the game on the line.  I think watching that A's game scarred me for life.

His numbers look great, but you're right, that probably won't last much longer.

My hope is he holds it together for another couple months then ship him off to some team for a marginal prospect. My dream is that he holds it together for another couple months and some team desperate for a closer gives up a good prospect.

Every team I give a crap about is out. No idea who to cheer for the rest of the way.

How about the ultimate underdog who's captain has been on the team for 16 years?  Everyone loves a rags to riches underdog tale right?

Probably who it's going to be, since they happen to be the only team left that I've actually seen live.

Dax, do you watch all of the games? Seems like it would be horrible to watch all of the games of a team you hate.
Yea, he has an irregular amount of animosity for the Royals. Reminds me a little of Beems.

You've got to think both hosmer and JF will break out soon

JF is a bad baseballer.  Hos should be fine.
+1

So is Weber actaully going to finish hiring a staff sometime or does he just plan on waiting until next season starts then putting an ad in the paper for out of work coaches and seeing who shows up?

Holy crap that was awesome. How badass is Moose?

It was a nice redemption for the easy play he mishandled earlier.

 :ump:

Moose has been great. He's not perfect in the field but he's been much better than advertised and I'd argue better than average for a 3B. Once Hoz gets it going the R's are a good 2B away from having one of the best all around infields in baseball.

Also, the Jets have 2 first round picks at QB.

i have tebow in the "novelty" round. i can't in good conscience acknowledge that an nfl team actually drafted him as a qb in the 1st..

elway cleaned that crap up. executive of the decade.
even if peyton goes all brady against the chiefs and misses the entire year, using his signing to banish tebow w/o fan backlash would still be worth it.

Definitely a great move by Elway, but you have to think if Manning misses more than half the season or gets injured late in the season and can't play in the playoffs the "why the hell did we trade Tebow, he could have led us to the Super Bowl" talk will start up.

I don't think that will happen. The Broncos will win the super bowl.

I think he'll stay healthy too, but I don't think they'll win the Super Bowl. There's alot of holes on that roster that people are forgetting about just because they signed Manning.

Did you see Tebow's record there? They are very, very good on defense.

Not really, 20th in yards/game, and 24th in points/game. Great at pressuring the QB but other than an aging Champ Bailey they're pretty meh in the secondary and almost as bad as the Chiefs against the run. The only reason they went 8-8 was a weak schedule and a great running game. They also don't have much depth either and need most of their starters to stay healthy.
