Guys, I think I'm going with the underdog Swans over the heartbreaker Evertoncats and Spurs. It's been a tough decision but the heart wants what the heart wants.

What an adorable name, too! Swans the animal are just wonderful

Yes, and that logo/crest is pretty elite too

A Newcastle, Swans or Stoke fan would really bring a new element to this thread

Honestly don't know much about them, but I'm tempted to stake a claim to this

All I know to do is call up mid level prospects for a cup o' coffee and "play for the future". I feel like Gordon Ramsey in that AT&T commercial.

as long as we don't see those teams in the playoffs we are going to win the GD world series  :surprised:

Boston
Seattle
Detroit

how do we avoid seeing Detroit in the playoffs?
Angels or As beat them in wild card?

Can you imagine if it's the A's vs Tigers in the WC game?  :Wha:

i've been over this many times, but we could have easily drafted drew brees, aaron rodgers, colin kaepernick and russel wilson.

going forward, we need to be proactive in targeting qb prospects. we simply need to change the mindset, organizationally.

i think dorsey and reid may in fact do that. we'll see. gonna have a lot of picks next year..

Just want to point out that other than Brees in SD each of those QBs was inserted into the lineup the exact opposite way of the way you're advocating.

I'm all in favor of aggressively targeting QB prospects, but as I've said before let's go the Seattle route and build a solid roster, then target a QB that is relatively cheap for a couple years.

Guys, our o-line is really bad right now in pass pro. Hopefully they just need more experience together, but they look absolutely awful right now.

Eric fisher is getting beat pretty bad 1 on 1.  Not sure it's a gel thing.

I'm torn on him. Some plays you can absolutely see the potential, then some he looks so bad you can't believe he'll ever reach it.

So where was that illegal contact?  They showed the replay and everything looked legit.

This illegal contact point of emphasis is pretty ridiculous. If they call it like this in the season the good WRs will just learn to run into DBs they know they can't make the catch.

Just watching the game now.  Why are goalies allowed to initiate such hard contact after players have already established position?  Around the 50th min, Dom has position, jumps in air, goalie not there yet, then goalie rams into dom, hooks his head, and pulls the side of doms head down and to the left after he doesn't even contact the ball.  Seemed extremely excessice considering he wasn't even in position until after dom jumped straight up.  what's the deal with that?

Goalies are just super protected and it has evolved to them being basically untouchable which has evolved to letting them get super physical without getting fouls called, especially when the ball is in the air.

Seems like this will eventually become a problem and quickly.

It's kinda like the QB thing in football. You have to protect them some, but it's almost out of hand and some abuse the system a little too much.

Is the Chiefs:opponents penalty ratio this preseason like 100:2?
