Kansas State Football / Re: Football Recruiting Thread
« on: September 10, 2014, 02:38:09 PM »
Wait, how does a guy that knows we where going after another highly ranked Juco QB and was fine with it all the sudden become butt hurt because he heard the recruiting pitch to Waters? Because I doubt that nowhere in the process was it insinuated Marshall could be in Klein's place one day.

Highly speculative rumor: SKC has offered Bieler to Columbus for top allocation spot in an attempt the get Kei. Source is a friend in the Columbus area so I am putting no stock in it.

Would probably take depending on the kind of salary we would give Kei. Makes sense in the sense that Columbus desperately needs a striker. :dunno:

Meh can we just wait in that allocation spot for someone better than Kei.

That's what I was thinking too, my question is when does the order reset? If it resets as soon as the season is over there's probably not much chance of many other options coming available.

The Kansas City Chiefs lost Derrick Johnson for the season on Sunday with a torn Achilles tendon and are dangerously thin on the roster at the position otherwise. Having only two healthy inside linebackers — journeymen James-Michael Johnson and Josh Mauga — on the roster until Joe Mays returns (he's on the injured reserve-designated to return) is not a good thing for a team running a 3-4 scheme.

As for what the Ravens might be looking for in return ... perhaps a running back? They just lost a high-profile one on Monday.

See ya Cyrus Gray

If they could swing a Arthur for Cyrus deal, oh man, I don't even know

really, what does today's game matter?  if duffy is done, the royals are done.  holy fucks.

is the tommy john in the shoulder?  i thought it was an elbow.

hoping he slept on it wrong last night. But i thought i've heard that shoulder injuries are worse than elbow. i dunno.

Really depends on what the injury is. Lots of different parts to the shoulder that injuring can range from needing a couple days rest to a couple years

I mean, if I was in Neds position I'd probably just toss flip a coin for which I'd pitch in the 9th and feel pretty good either way

Things more awesome than Rusty Kuntz:
1. Alex Gordon's booty
2. Salvy's smile
3. Rusty Kuntz's hair
4. Yea right, there's no 4

I'd like to see a stat in MLB of what portion of attendance comes from people living 30+ miles from the stadium. I would be willing to bet the Royals are top 10 if not top 5. In part because of how far the stadium is from the Johnson County crowd and partly because how much of the fan base is spread out in smaller cities throughout the Midwest.

Ok, the rangers are terrible, the stadium is an hour drive from literally everywhere in the metroplex, and yet they are enjoying huge crowds

Yea, they're probably top 5 too, but at the same time both Dallas and Ft Worth are bigger than KCK and MO combined

Okay I'm back, I was only mildly mean, shouldn't really pick on the crippled.

The match was crap and I don't want to talk about it, other than I loved how physical it was. Anyway other stuff.

WTF MLS, give both broadcasts. Every other league has this figured out, it is absurd that people in their team's broadcast footprint have to see another team's broadcast. Stupid.

Jay Heaps is a colossal tool, I hate him. At halftime he said "it felt like we were playing against 14." I don't think I've ever seen a coach cry to the referees as much as he does, in any sport.

That accident wasn't nice to Davies, he used to be sexy, he's now a mutant. Mean, I know, it's just an observation.

That old. wrinkled, cracked up cover they have for the wall around the field is the perfect symbol for how the owners feel about that franchise. It's just completely embarrassing.

Lee Nguyen is awesome, Bieler should never see the field again

The NER analyst was good, I liked him; hated the play by play guy.

At the end of the broadcast there is a graphic that comes on the screen that says "A Craft Production" with a logo that features a pink tie. WTF?

Yea, if he was a DP I'd have much less problem with him being a FP, TC scrub. If the only SKC move this offseason is getting rid of Bieler somehow I'll be happy
