Saw this on a Blues message board and got a little chuckle

That's funny. Yandle is flashy but I like Z much better as a defenseman. He's solid on the blue line again nothing flashy, although he won't need to for the Blues he can log a million minutes and he is very good on the kill.

I agree on Michalek. If him and Shattenkirk are both healthy come playoff time and Lindbohm keeps up his solid play, the Blues may have the best D corp in the league from 1-6. Then add in a solid top 6 guy like Jackman and 2 serviceable depth guys in Butler and Bortuzzo and that depth is filthy. That will come in handy when the Blues have their annual MASH unit the last week of the season.

Since it's a "power ranking" I think LA-Seattle belongs. If it was just best overall rivalries I agree with sunny.

It's kind of like how if you asked for the NFLs best rivalries right now SF-Seattle has to be on the list, but historically not so much.

Yandle to the Rangers :sdeek:

At least you got Duclair back

Did the Rangers need more scoring though? Yandle is a total disaster defensively, a nightmare.

Yea, I don't know. This will be an interesting one to watch. Anything less than a Cup in the next couple years probably has to be considered a failure for them considering all they've given up for Nash, St. Louis, and now Yandle.

I'd have loved Yandle on the Blues, but he'd have been pretty redundant once Shattenkirk gets back and that price would have been way to steep. If he gets healthy and plays I think Michalek will be a good fit at a much better price.

Very similar reason to why I'm a Blues fan. First game I saw in person was a Blues/'Yotes game in St. Louis. It ended being an incredibly fun, intense game and I fell in love with the Blues' style of play. Also part of the reason the 'Yotes are one of my secondary favorites.

Also thee Blues history is also very entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about their past once I started following them.

I like the Blues too, I have a mp3 of their old goal horn. You're right they have a very interesting history, the checkerdome

I had a 60+ female blues fan hit me after the Coyotes beat the Blues in a playoff game 15 years ago.

Missed this post.

Im really sad I can never see a game in the Checkerdome, the stories of it are fantastic.

Screw you, ISU seems to sing. Not quite obscene either, just like flood aggie ain't quite worth the effort.

It can fit the cadence of rock chalk Jayhawk. Just sayin

put this in another thread but probably belongs here. their butthurt has developed into fabrications.

Was probably trying to also say "...nice and comfortably in your home surrounded by family and friends at a very old age" but with known unapologetic chokeholder Kurtis Townsend on the loose he didn't have a chance to finish for fear of his life

KU fans don't believe in court storming AND have to wear adidas, what a sad way to go thru life.  :frown:

Classy tho

Ashia owned the last two minutes. Fantastic job.

Ashia is probably one of the most underrated 'Cats baller (male or female). Really sad she's a senior.

So KU just forfeits the @KSU game every year?

If I was a student I would do the $100 one in a heartbeat. It's absolutely perfect for a student.

Nope, but the butthurt over court storming is fun.

Side note: Wyatt made some comment right after the game about "You have to be happy for them, especially the coaches". Seriously Wyatt, the coaches? eff off

I'm sticking by my original prediction, a team could fall in love with him and grab him in the 2nd, but he's a solid 3rd rounder. A poor combine could have dropped him but I don't think his combine performance really surprised anyone enough to move his overall prediction up.

I have it on mute but I think Bony is coming on soon. (sorry joda)

Eh, I'm excited for him

Sucks that he's probably going to push Jovetic out of the team. Jovetic is pissed that he missed out on UCL.

He could come to Swansea :crossfingers:

:) He'll go back to Italy if we can't convince him to stay.

Wales is sort of Italy

I said this early in the season and today just underlined it. oscar is finally reaching his goal of turning us into a mid/low level Big 10 team. All we're missing is an extremely slow, uncoordinated, white, and most likely Polish 7 footer.

1545
Scott Drew made it a point in the post game interview to say oscar does a great job.

Opposing coaches are going to bat for oscar.  That's a sure sign that it's time to pull the plug.

He's our Turner Gill

I only caught bits and pieces of the replay, but Nemeth looks like he may be a sneaky good signing.
