@Cleveland State in 08 was a pretty good win.

Probably one of the most overrated underrated wins.

We better get an honest explanation as to why he's gone.

now Frank HAS to play Kelly. He just has to.

Kinda nice that we get to see our best big actually get some minutes.

Frank will play with 4 before not teaching curtis an in-game lesson.

Again if you read my post I wish they would have done something more dynamic with the hiring of assistants.  I don't think the shifting of titles is a positive as it applies to recruiting. I "get it".  However I believe questioning his ability to coach the position is naive.

Also to believe that yb is locked into hciw due to some diabolical and grand nepotistic plan is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  Especially when it seems the primary evidence is the recent discovery that Sean has held the title associate head coach since ob returned.

I just think we're chicken little'n this mofo a little bit.

I agree LickNecky that the hiring of Sean is not, in and of itself, a reason to panic.  But when you combine it with

1. winning 7 or fewer games 4 straight seasons,
2. refusing to fire completely inept and incompetent assistant coaches ,
3. nabbing a recruiting class ranked dead last in the Big 12,
4. costing the team a chance at a bowl victory with dumbass play calling,
5. going two full seasons without beating a BCS opponent with a winning season record,

it becomes a little bit closer to a "the sky is falling" type of scenario.

"They are standing by the "fact" that Sean has "been a coach for years" and that there is some swimming coach in texas who has never swam before."

Sean has been working with secial teams and kickers for the majority of his tenure here.  I fyou attend a K-State coaching clinic guess who demonstrates the kicking drills?  Luckily onlike your favorite swin coach Sean actually particpated in special teams so you can sleep easy.

"Some think that Bill is retiring after this year, and that he isn't going to go hire a highly touted staff only to lay them off next year(and tards are ok with this)."

I think he has made overtures to lure in quality staff but can understand how some may be deterred by the prospect of retirement.  The one staff member we did bring in may not be the young dynamic force that many wanted, but he is a proven respected mind with a quality resume.  The other staff opening can still be filled at any time.

"Some seem to flat out not mind the fact that Sean is one heart beat away."

WTF? Sean isn't the VP of the U.S. "one heart beat away"?  so if Bill dies you think Curry or any AD is just going to look at some b.s. title and use that as the succesion plan?  Then what Sean gets to finish out the term of Bill's contract?  The school would name an interim HC ( in our case that would pob be Dimel) and conduct a search following the season.  Thinking anything otherwise is
Being treated as any other cacty realization.  Rationalized into a "Trust Bill" mindset."

I do not like everything that has transpired within the program.  I wish we would have secured Leavitt or a younger more dynamic coach.  I wish there would have been more sweeping changes to the d staff.  However ultimately had you told me that we would have beet KU, UCLA, Texas and went to the Pinstrip Bowl  i would have been happy.  Looking at the recruiting class and returning players i feel that we have a good chance to be better this year.  A pov that seems shared by national pundits

Some of us shoot a little higher than beating 3 teams with a combined record of 13-23.  But if that's what makes you happy I guess Bill is your coach.
