eff them for toying with my emotions

http://www.omaha.com/article/20110222/BIGRED02/110229885#nu-s-diaz-sore-but-ok

the power of prayer is a farce.

We didn't pray hard enough, not someone needs to prey on that knee between now and game time.

I would have picked a better picture myself.  Kind of a weird angle.

I think they did that angle to make his nose not look as big.

Did nothing for his hair line though.

Gene Keady territory here.

Has anyone seen Tina/Kevin's friends list? Or the e-mail address used for the "Please" account's friends list at least. Some weird ass people/names.

Irony that a K-state site has a video about KU traitors and said video is surrounded by Tallgrass Brewery Co. ads?

Perhaps I missed something, or I don't understand the definition of irony being used here.

JHR is not exempt for being impersonated because he is on the team and Wally is not.

No, but it definitely makes Wally more of a bitch than if he'd done it while still on the team.

I'm not entirely sure how Wally could be more of a bitch than he was when he was on the team, but it seems he's managed quite nicely.

Maybe he was trying to do JHR a favor...stir up his rep a bit for having ladies over, two in fact. I think this is the most logical explanation. Bravo Wally, you good samaritan!!!

I don't think we will lose again until we get to the Big 12 Tournament.

If that happens...we go 3-1 in Big Monday games. One of the biggest shocks, after the team face-planted, of the season. (for me)

He's a great athlete.

he's really not.  he's fine, has a nice body, good hands, passes well, etc.  but he's nothing more than an ordinary high-major pf athlete.

ordinary high-major athlete? What does that even mean? If you want to tell me he is an ordinary basketball player, fine. You want to tell me he will never be a great baller, fine. I don't know you can say he is not a great athlete though. I don't care what you amount to in college, if you have such nice highlight videos, you are a great athlete. Not necessarily a great basketball player though.

seriously, post-quitting wally pisses me off.

He instantly goes from a poor little depressed pouting kitten to a guy making fun of his former teammates out there busting their ass, picking on drunk midgets, wishing he was playing HS ball, and laughing it up at his ex-teammates' games. eff him. The highlight of his career was Denis Clemente loudly uttering his name. That's it. Congrats, go have fun at the division 1 program where you can sit around on your ass pouting all day and still play 30 min/game.

what the hell is that about?

I'm not sure I agree with this. It's not like Wally was making of JHR's work ethic, game, or anything to do with basketball. JHR is not exempt for being impersonated because he is on the team and Wally is not.

I hope OSU gets destroyed. A win (very unlikely) would put them back into bubble hope with 3 winnable games left, a loss pretty much eliminates them from bubble consideration.  They are a bad loss for us, but KU finishing well only helps us now even more.

Ok...but can we still see pig get knocked out?

Also...how many threads will OHawk make about beating OSU?

Just this once

:twoseed:

I'd rather a Morris twin knocks him completely out of the game. Resulting in a season ending suspension. Negating both of the Morris Twins. (they can't play alone...that gay twin bond crap)

And OSU rallies around their injured boy and wins the game.

Eric Chenowith. Bill Wennington. Chris Dudley. That Bradley [redacted].

If it were still the time in the NBA where those guys were playing...I say hellfuckingyeah to JHR in the NBA.

But the league has changed. JHR will have to come close to doubling up where he is now before he is considered for the NBA.

Why do so many people want Wally back? He sucks. Sure, it would be helpful to have depth this year, but I would rather take a chance on some 3 star recruit next year than know we are getting Wally Judge (shitty player) back.

People love a success story. Redemption. He's clearly fallen on trouble times and he's just so rough ridin' adorable. If he is going to turn it around, people would rather he did that here than go somewhere else and do it. He's a great athlete that could develop into something great. If he loves the team, loves manhattan, has lost his soft side. I'll take him back, even if it's only in a Luis Colon capacity.

I hate seeing guys with huge upside looking so sad all the time. I also hate when they quit and tweet about their love of the team, and seem to like the town they are in. I really just don't understand and I want to Wally. I really effing want to understand.

I am personally not a fan of Duke. I do have to hand it to a school that is known for its academics and is still able to prosper in Basketball, both men's and women's.

I guess the only knock I have on Duke really isn't on Duke. It's Dickie V.

Oh and Laettner...and Battier...

From the star article: "Self announced that Thomas Robinson could see action in tonight’s game. Robinson had surgery 10 days ago to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee."

So you're telling me, that TEN DAYS after surgery, he is ready to play? Greatest rehab doctors of all time apparently.

Seff initially said he tore his MCL and when non-dumbasses called him on it not making sense he changed it to meniscus....then, when more non-dumbasses called him on the meniscus not making sense and that running him back out there without a properly healed meniscus could ruin his career they apparently had miracle water sprayed on it and Seff said, "NUH UH!" and now he's good to go.

Wouldn't this be similar to Blake Young?  He came back pretty quick, sucked, but came back.

Was thinking this.

20897
is that the guy shouting we're #1 at the end of the game?

I wish I could say yes...would have loved it that much more.

20898
One guy said "typical DC kid"

i think that was jmizzy, the guy who apparently inexplicably hates pullen.  he's normally a poster i enjoy reading.

Should do his homework before he starts hating. At least they avoided "chimp" references or the likes.

Lets cut to the chase and the most important thing about Beasley - is he still a fat ass?

Yes....actually WAY worse. I've seen him the ville a few times. Once he was completely wasted at O'Malleys.
