Fifa World Cup 2010.   :pbj:

This game is absolutely amazing and I don't even follow soccer that closely.  The only thing better is NHL HOCKEY 2010!!!!

Yuengling Lager

Others:  Coors Origina

This is my ''go to" cheap beer.

Love the stuff, but only in a bottle.   Tastes different out of a can, IMHO.

That's funny cause it's the only beer I prefer out of a can.  :dunno:  (<--- can for me though)

Jason Goodwin's Janissary Tree was really good.  It's fiction, but not American fiction.

I dunno if travel books are your thing or not but here are a couple that I've really enjoyed.  Arabian Sands by Wilfred Thesiger, Baghdad Without a Map and Confederates in the Attic by Tony Horwitz are all great.

question for regular pickup basketball players, if you are stuck with 8 guys playing 4 v. 4, do you prefer half court or full court? personally, i hate playing half court 4 v. 4; way too crowded and completely eliminates guard play

Def full.

I guess cause there's no nutritional value to bee@ and drinking on an empty stomach isn't a great idea.  Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it, but it just doesn't seem like a good dinner to me.

Just drink a good stout.

was never any doubt that Mike "Throw Me A" Bohn wasn't going to search outside of the bargain bins (or more than 60 miles away) for a replacement, but this is unbelievable. Buff nation is likely to rise up and protest. I would NOT be suprised to see a massive crowd on campus tomorrow letting the administration know exactly how they feel.

Did you attend cu?  You always take pretty strong stances on issues relating to them.

No. But somebody has to fight for their cause.

It's laughable that ku is an AAU school . . . in terms of many of their fellow AAU school their research and academic ranking is a joke.

K-State Manhattan has just as much extramural research or more than ku Lawrence, they have to combine their medical center extramural research and ku lawrence to surpass K-State.    Compared to other major universities that have medical schools their total extramural research funding is extremely low.

What makes a University eligible to become an AAU school?

I know, it's just weird that the best player on the court didn't play and elijah (the not best player on the court) did.

He "looked" like the best player on the court at Late Night.  Obviously there were some things he needed to work on, though.

so he had a good scrimmage?

No, he looked like the best player on the floor.

..at one scrimmage.

Not just one scrimmage.  According to Bob Davis, Releford and Little looked like two of the best players on the team during NCAA tournament practices.  Releford was giving Henry fits during practices all season long.  The guy is good.  Deal with it.

That's about the equivalent of a conservative quoting Glenn Beck or a liberal quoting Ed Schultz.

Yeah... a guy who is constantly around the basketball program, constantly watching the team practice, couldn't possibly know what he's talking about.

 :jerk:

Dude, he's your version of Wyatt.

Sometimes I have a beer when I get home from work and before I cook some dinner.  Sometimes, I just say eff dinner and drink more beers.  :hangover:

I've done this before too but I don't see why it would fall under the category of "stupidest dinners"?  :dunno: :drink:
