Kinda thinking I might get a rain barrel at some point this summer depending on how high my water bill gets.

Anyone have one?

Pretty sweet. When I worked at Tubby's fred would always come in and play war when we were opening up. Then order some chicken fingers, extra honey mustard  :D

Ben ji, please have your bro/friend/randorelative/whatevs steel you some grass seed and golf course fertilizer next trip.

Otherwise, it looks fantastic!

Yup, getting a border around the flower beds(Stone of some sort) and fixing the lawn are up next. Will see how the lawn looks in a couple of weeks but I may just till up half the backyard and plant new grass.

So,all your gardens die already or what?

Planted some more stuf along the fenceline

Planted stuff bordering the house as well!

Then my brother dropped off even more!

Opened my roth IRA about a year ago, everything is in 1 mutual fund and I've been meaning to redistribute some of it into an ETF(Looking at ITOT). Finally got around to selling half the mutual fund yesterday, waiting until at least next week to reinvest it in a ETF, maybe longer if the market keeps going down.

Not really trying to time anything, just something I've been meaning to do for a while.

Been canoodling a bit with a girl from my high school who was not yet a student at said high school when I graduated. Shame yourself thread? Idk, Idc.

Depends on her current age, IMO.
Can attend bars, does attend college

Looks like 8manpick has found himself a nice 92 model blonde/brunette. Great craftmanship that year and the BEST thing about the 92 models is they have alot less mileage than the various 1980's models most of us are used to. I bet she's came fully loaded with all the options AMIRIGHT?

Looking for suggestions or recommendations for a family trip to the gulf coast of Florida.   Places to stay? Keys/Beaches to visit?  Flying out of MCI, projected length of stay 4-5 nights, sometime in mid-August (hurricane season; we like to live on the edge). Likely flying into Tampa (or another nearby airport), as I have some relatives in Clearwater.

rent a house on sanibel island

Yeah, actually would be fishing for striped bass not wipers. Never been with them but I've seen pictures of some monster 30+ pounders they have caught. SHOULD BE A GREAT TIME.

Exact text from my dad was very white midwesterny "Pat n Eric will become your favorite cousins if they can get you into some biting fish. Fishing likely june 15, 22,or 29. Will depend on wheat harvest"

Bad news: My company is moving into a new building in June so I will no longer be able to fish on my lunch break.

Good News: THERE IS ALOT

1. I may be getting a new job down the street from current location that will at least allow me to fish the same spots after work.
2. If I dont get the new job my current company's new building is close to a spot I have fished on the blue river before.
3. Going to the Ozarks on Friday to fish then Pomme De Terre on Saturday to fish, will also consume LARGE QUANTITIES of cereal malt beverages
4. Cousins always go fishing for Wipers at Wilson lake in June, apparently they just slaughter them. Will be going with them for the first time this year!!!

Make sure to drive up to Lucas and go the little store there that sells ring baloney.  It makes and awesome companion for beer drinking.

Google cannot find Lucas MO. Sounds pretty elite

So training doesn't start till June 9th and I'm starting to get bored at work. There's no daily agenda for me. He told me to try and get acclimated to all of their systems and read up on the product. I've been doing that since last Wednesday. What now? :runaway:

Tell your boss you are going to explore the building then drive out to ben ji's business park on your lunch break and do some fishing
 Also, I have a confession, your place of business is out there! We need to share a beer sometime soon so I can tell you how I backed out of the interview there. Short story, I drove all the way out there, my stomach went off and I needed to take a massive crap, so I called to reschedule and never did since this op came knocking. :shy:

AWESOME

Anyone want to pay me for a hotel at the Sheraton on the plaza for Sunday night?  They are demanding a 2 night stay.  Alternatively does anyone want to let me shack up with them Saturday night?

KK, this could work perfect! I am going to be out of town all weekend and need someone to look after lady. You can crash at my place in praire village IF you promise to feed and walk lady AT LEAST 1 hr a day. She will provide plenty of cuddles so dont worry about that.

Weird one....

I was out in western ks visiting soeme relatives then on my way back to KC I decided to pull off on the side of I-70 to do some fishing. I'm driving my parents old mini-van and messing around in the backseat with my fishing gear when I see like FIVE COP CARS pull up behind me and start shining their light throught he back windsheild. I reach into my pocket for my wallet to get my ID out but they think I am reaching for a gun.

They tell me to freeze and not move as they come up along the side of the mini-van, door is open and I'm freaking out thinking they are going to shoot me since my hand is still in my pocket and they think i am grabbing a gun or something. I explain that I'm grabbing my wallet and that I can take my hand out of my pocket whenever. They tell me to exit the car and slam me to the ground cuff me and find like $50 in random bills in my pocket and start accusing me of being a drug dealer.

They start searching my car(without my permission) and my GF(who was in the front seat) is all like WTF are you guys doing? So they slam her down and cuff her too.

Long story short they dont find anything in my car but are real dicks.

Man....Just went real deep into wikipedia....

About 2 hours ago I was reading the recent motion picture thread and someone mentioned the pianist, had heard it was good but never watched it so I read the wikipedia page...my journey from there

Pianist> Warsaw Ghetto Uprising > Molotov Cocktail > Winter War> Helsiniki >Operation something(Invasion of Norway by germany in WWII)> Quislings > Low Countries > Netherlands > 1953 North sea flood> Rotterdam > Belgium > Antwerp

How did people learn before wikipedia? Woof

My dad has a real old one that looks just like a rape van. He uses it to move his bee hives but it also works great when you have to move furniture!
